Pizza Sophia - Speisekarte

Lovely pizza! Ordered the Di Parma pizza and there was the perfect amount of speck and rocket on it! Relatively cheap prices as well for the quality of it, such a nice find on our london holiday!

Reviews were a bit overrated for my expectations. Not much of a variety for pizza toppings and the crust was like a soggy piece of bread. I ate it because i was hungry but definitely would not go back. :

We ate a very good pizza, in a very pleasant calm (late evening 8-10pm). The place offers mainly pizza. The dessert (tiramisu) was very good. We shared a starter (cherry tomatoes on bread and olive oil) which was very simple, but very fresh and pleasant.

Pizza is ok, it’s reasonably tasty and the crust is nice but can’t understand all the glowing reviews. Apart from the crust the rest of the pizza is too soggy and there’s way too much cheese to be considered an authentic Italian style pizza. Overrated and a bit disappointing. Speisekarte ansehen

As an Italian, I am a little fussy about food. Here, however, I was able to appreciate not only the pizza, which in my opinion is very good, but also the atmosphere of a simple and authentic pizzeria. Fully satisfied, I removed one star because of the waitress who at 10.15pm was in a hurry to go home and at my request for a tiramisu was almost annoyed. Strongly recommended!

I had a difficult time in London finding a pizza place that would satisfy this New Yorker's idea of good pizza. Pizza Sophia came closest. About 10 different pizzas flavors offered I decided on the Marinara. That's what it was, Marinara sauce on pizza dough, nothing else, not even a glimpse of cheese! I had worse in London, so this was OK. Very friendly staff, and they sell wine as well. That helped.

when a pizza is freshly pulled, it is not soggy. These guys precook, the re-warm on the serving platter which is metal, therefore the pizza sweats before it gets reheated. Server went for a smoke break, though she knew we were ready for a check (she brought us our leftover soggy pizza . Came back in, did not wash her hands (we could see that, facing the service area . Still did not bring the check and when asked about it, an associate of hers brought it..
