"Came here Sunday night so it wasn’t busy, only a few tables. We walked in and took a couple of mins before anyone helped us to a table. We said table for 2 and he looked at us like we needed to book a table as if it was so busy there was no table free. We said we didn’t book and showed us to our table. Got menus, waited and waited for 20 mins before anyone came to take our order. No one came by beforehand to ask if we wanted drinks. Staff walking around clearly could see we were waiting to get served but ignored us. We ordered drinks and food. My husband ordered spirit and waitress said we don’t serve that here. He said it’s on the menu so she had to check. It’s like are you serious. Surprisingly the food came out almost immediately. Garlic bread was nasty, a bun barely slathered with garlic butter. It was just bread with a smidge of garlic butter. The pizza was ok a bit salty. No one checked up on us and being it wasn’t busy, they should’ve had time to check on us. Horrible service for mediocre food."

We enjoyed a tasty meal at the restaurant, and our server Chloe was extremely friendly and cheerful. The chocolate fondant was also back on the menu and it was absolutely delicious!

I had a negative experience with Uber Eats not delivering my order, so I decided to visit Pizza Express to complain. I was very impressed with their exceptional service as they promptly made us fresh food and even provided us with complimentary drinks. I have no complaints about Pizza Express, but I will definitely avoid using Uber Eats in the future.

Standard pizza and pasta joint. We asked for a quiet table at the far end. We were seated two tables from a table with two toddlers. Lot of screeching throughout out meal. (My friends had accepted the table before I could intervene. I had chicken caesar, which was awful. We had to repeatedly ask for oil and vinegar, and pepper, and cutlery for the main course, and for the bill. £160 for four, two three courses, wine and coffee.
