"Siamo venuti a cenare in questo ristorante con grandi aspettative dovute alle recensioni e anche alla cucina toscana.Purtroppo le aspettative sono andate parzialmente deluse.Partiamo dal servizio che è decisamente da sistemare.Eravamo in e antipasto è arrivato molto prima degli altri, pur avendo ordinato cose simili. Inoltre il vino e l’acqua sono stati portati solo su sollecito e dopo che gli antipasti erano già stati serviti da un po’. Un po’ troppo lunga l’attesa, ma ancora nel limite.Buona la qualità delle materie prime. Il pecorino era molto piacevole e i salumi decisamente buoni. Carne chiaramente di ottima qualità, così come la pasta fresca.Purtroppo però la cottura e la preparazione dei cibi non era all’altezza della materia prima. Tutto senza sale e con poco gusto (ad eccezione dei pici cacio e pepe).Il ragù di cinghiale troppo debole, la carne completamente insipida. È un peccato perché con la materia prima a disposizione si poteva fare molto meglio.Nota positiva sui dolci, semplici ma molto buoni.Il conto è coerente con la materia prima utilizzata, meno con la qualità del prodotto finale."

"very beautiful and rekaxing atmosphere, beautiful brick walls, lots of wine bottles around, good music, not too many tables good setting for a great dinner. they can taste really good weeping after glass. very good recommendations and overall pleasant service. all the foods were delicious....Beef a la tartare was really delicious, well tuned with red wine. large pastas, red by montepulciano really elegant. yes, hamburger on the menu, but with high quality wine. not q cheap place to eat, but also expensive. would go again. last but not least, try something dessert wine and mascarpone cream is like the sky."

"Ottima cena. i piatti sono così invitanti e oca che non ho nemmeno pensato di fotografarli. il posto è di base, ma si nota pulizia e dedizione alla cucina, così come l'attenzione al cliente. Christian e vittorioso sono molto simpatici e amichevoli e la loro presenza tra i tavoli è costante per cercare la soddisfazione del cliente, senza mai essere invadente. pasta e dolci fatti da loro con abilità sono assolutamente da provare. ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo."

"is a historical cellar, adjacent to the church of S.Maria dei servi, which occupies the spaces of the ancient convent of the fathers served. the gattavecchi family produces wine and also oil, from generation to generation, almost a century and more recently the excellent production was accompanied by a particular gastronomic proposal, made of passion and creativity, with the tavern set under the arches of the salon of the ancient refectory and in the reserved spaces of a panoramic terrace. in our lunch we have decreed the three variations of the “verticale” of the noble wine of montepulciano, combined with dishes of the revisited tradition, strictly with ingredients and local products: the cut to green pepper, rosemary and red berries, the Arista alla Poliziana with almond cream, eggplant roll and pecorino, grilled vegetables and potatoes in pecorino crust. to close the friar's whim with mascarpone cream and hazelnut and pecorino pudding with glass of holy vin. the final visit to the ancient historical cellar that descends of three levels in the underground, with steps carved in the rock, between the bottles in refinement and the barrels in wood, up to an ancient hypogea room in the mouth of Etruscan tomb."

"Gluten free pasta options are pici. No pizza offered for lunch. Gluten free bread was still cold in the center when we got it. I also had to remind my waitress 3 times we were gluten free and she still almost gave us regular bread. My husband got the pici with tomato garlic sauce and I got the ragu. It was good and we enjoyed it but we’re not overly impressed. If you want some amazing pasta, head to La Briciola"
