"we took the menu jour lunch, and soon came to regret it. the service was out of operation, inefficient and slow, although the restaurant was less than half full. especially the starter took over minutes to appear and was a piece tasteless. pate en croute with a few salat leaves and a puppenspiel by chutney, who only took seconds to prepare. we suspected that the pate en croute had come from a local super market (can a runner have been sent to pick it up the main course, magret de canard, was better, but lukewarm as if it sat under the salamander for minutes, and dessert, tarte didin, was also half warm and halfhearted. Overall, I can't see why this place has rated so high on tripadvisor, let alone a certificate of excellent one to avoid my opinion!"

"A pleasant discovery that this restaurant on the canal. The place is very pleasant. The service is friendly and fast. The fish was very good. A lot of flavors and a nice cooking. The accompaniments were varied with various vegetables. For the burger, nothing special if it was corn bread that was particularly good. The accompanying fries are good too, in small quantity for a burger at this price there. A good plate overall but not a culinary experience. The entry salad was also simple. We didn’t test desserts for lack of space."

"Nous ne sommes peut être pas venus le bon jour. Nous avons trouvé l'accueil courtois mais très froid, pas de sourire, le visage fermé de l'ensemble du personnel. Le menu unique avec de nombreux suppléments ou les plats à la carte présentés sur une feuille plastifiée nous a également refroidis. Nous avons attendu 30 minutes sans que l'on ne vienne prendre notre commande. Entendant les tables à côté demander si l'attente de leur plat allait encore être longue, nous avons préféré partir car nous étions limités dans le temps. La Romanée a une très bonne réputation mais nous n'avons pas eu la possibilité de le confirmer. Nous reviendrons cependant pour confirmer que ce n'était qu'un mauvais jour."
