Fabulous service from Lexi tonight. Food was absolutely amazing steak peppercorn pie was divine. I will be back!!

The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff were incredibly attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner if you are in the area.

Excellent service, very friendly and helpful. Made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much bother. Food was fabulous best pie, mash and peas have tasted in a long time.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem while traveling through Towcester - a fantastic local pub! I ordered the steak pie and the lamb pie, both of which were piping hot and delicious. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Well done to everyone involved!

The lovely old pub and restaurant in the heart of Towcester has become a regular spot for us since we first visited in October 2023. The bar staff and selection of pies, mash, and gravy are fantastic, although I do miss the Duck and plum pie that used to be on the menu. It has quickly become a favorite spot to bring friends, as everyone I've introduced to this place has thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambiance.

Every couple of weeks, an old classic car racing friend stays while working as an instructor at Silverstone. Over the years we’ve eaten everywhere locally, but this is top pick for choice quality and value. It helps that the the patron, Ed, is very engaging and this is reflected in the overall service. I generally book on the day, avoiding Wednesdays, because that’s quiz night, not only v popular but we don’t want to be shown up for our ignorance…… My current pie pick is the steak and ale with chunky chips and traditional gravy, as good as you’d get at the Ritz, seriously…..it’s top quality.
