Poppies Fish And Chips Camden

Very good haddock fish chips (crisp, fresh). Good sauces. Decent service. A little on the pricier side but understandable due to its location.

What a great find. Tucked away down a side road off Camden high street, we found Poppies. Just what we needed a sit down Fish and Chip restaurant. Service was great, food was delicious and the bar was well stocked and offered everything you need....Also really good value . Thanks and well done to all the staff.

Service was a little slow but it was busy at the time on a hot sunny day. Going for a mixture of foods, fish and chips, sharing platter, sauage and chips. The batter was night and light and was not oily, and it was cooked fresh. Portion sizes were pretty decent in that the fish was quite large. The chips could have been a bit more. Overall, it was nice

I have a farewell from here this afternoon. the food was immediately prepared and sent. I loved the packaging and the food was packed with great care. this was by far the best fish chips I have cost so far. chips were from this world. the cod scampi had amazing crispy teig and nothing tasted the smallest piece of fat. they have won themselves a regular customer; Speisekarte ansehen

I love absolutely love poppies. my favorite still remains the fish cake, cadry and muddy. the personal is absolutely amazing, always so friendly and helpful. I am so addicted to this place. highly recommended. the best fish and chips seriously! I even ordered a dozen fishcake and muddy heap to freeze, they freeze well. only in many for 20mins and its as well as made fresh!

The venue is really beautiful and looked into details! Staff are friendly and efficient, you can see they deal with a lot of customers every day! The fish chips was good here! We took the calamari rings, the cod and the mixed platter to share. We didn't particularly like the anchovies but overall it was a good balance quality/value! There is always a queue here as it is very popular and the area is a must-to-see in London but normally they are very good at managing it and the waiting time is never too long! Recommended!

I usually go to Golden Fish and chips off of Oxford Street but because of all of the Great Reviews I thought we should try poppies. We got the haddock and chips and it was flavorless. usually cod is the bland one and haddock is much tastier) All the flavor was in the crust but the fish itself was bland we added a lot of salt and Malt vinegar but didn’t help much. The fries weren’t great usually I would eat the whole lot but not this time. They give you a very small jar of tartar sauce. Not enough in my opinion! And it didn’t taste like the freshly made tartare sauce but something out of a jar : The mushy peas were good. Bathroom downstairs clean. The couple next to us got fried calamari and...
