Popped in on opening night for a drink and then first Saturday for dinner. Very impressed, great staff and fantastic delicious food- very good and definately recommend

I had a lovely Christmas meal! The price per person was between £20 and £30. The food was excellent, rated 5 out of 5, the service was also outstanding, earning a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere was fantastic, another 5 out of 5. Speisekarte ansehen

Very impressed after a lovely celebratory early Fathers Day family meal for 7. Great menu, lots of choice even for one gluten and dairy free diner. Polite and attentive staff, nothing too much trouble, we look forward to visiting again soon

Went for lunch today. Great food, great decor,great staff ! I had the stinky Pete burger with sweet potato fries my wife had the chicken and bacon salad washed down with an ice cold Guinness and a ice cold cider. The staff were friendly and efficient, fantastic refit for a long overdue restaurant pub for the village will be back very soon !

I myself and hubby went for the first time to the prinz louis, the couple of us could not mistake eating or the service that waitress named daisy was chatting, very polite and could not be enough for us, we had a starter each and portion size was good, then I had the 10 unzen rump steak boiled medium and it was perfect, hubby had 10 uncen ribeye boiled well Speisekarte ansehen

This was the first of many visits, and I hope for more to come! The food was absolutely fantastic! The melt-in-your-mouth beef was to die for, and the dessert was beautifully presented as well. The service was excellent, with attentive staff throughout the meal. The decor was lovely, and even the restrooms were exceptional! I can't find anything to critique and will definitely be back. Well done to everyone at Prince Louis!

Went for girlie lunch and a catch up on Friday atmosphere perfect and wonderful welcome from the staff as we stepped across the threshold. Lovely buzz about the place with fab decor that breaks up the previous unwelcome barn feel and makes it so lovely to sit in. Food tasty and wine good and our server Susanne was attentive . Booked for 19th and 21st already with more friends! It’s just what we needed on Great Notley Congratulations! X

I had a lovely, relaxed meal on Father's Day, and the staff were excellent. The pub's new look is much more welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed rotisserie chicken, which was the best I've had in a long time, as well as steak bacon burgers accompanied by sweet potato and regular fries, along with some coleslaw. For dessert, we tried a waffle cone filled with 99 ice cream, along with some delicious cake and a refreshing lemon-lime tart. Everything was fantastic!
