i went with a group of 5 my mates and i wanted meudium rare steak it cane back well done, we all orders pints of lager it came back as cider, i will not be visiting again, very poor from this pub

The food at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic and the staff is extremely helpful. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and we felt very welcomed. We will definitely be coming back again.

Visited as a group of eight staying locally on a ‘mini break’ during the Christmas New Year interlude. We were looked after by a young lady who’s name we unfortunately didn’t get very friendly and accommodating. Good food, wine and beer. Worth a visit.

My husband and I had dinner at the Railway yesterday evening, and it was excellent. The dishes were nicely presented, with my husband enjoying the pork and myself the balsamic chicken from the Specials Board. We highly recommend these meals. The service was also excellent.

Called off the hop with a family visiting from London most of us had the steak cooked various from rare to well done all came out the way we asked for the whole meals were done to perfection and there was a good selection of puddings available especially the cheese cake will be back soon as it was it was the best meal I have for a long time

Melanie and her team offer a mouthwatering menu, always varied with local dishes and exciting new dishes to try. The team are attentive and accommodating, we enjoy every visit, exploring a new menu each time. The Early Bird menu is an absolute bargain amd portions will not fail to fill! The Sunday lunch is a must!!! Well done, the team deliver everytime!

We came in from the back parking lot and were a bit confused about where to dine. The dining room walls were unusual and I wish I had taken a picture. We had the pork and chicken specials and they were good. They did not have any Welsh ale on drought which was too bad, but I survived. There was an amazing amount of food so we had leftovers for the next night.

I am staying in the area for a couple of days, so I decided to go to the pub for dinner. The exterior doesn't have much curb appeal, but the interior is very unique and nicely done. The bathrooms are clean and nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating of dietary allergies. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and generous portions. I had a great meal and will be returning tomorrow night for dinner again. Thank you!

The food was excellent as usual. What was great we had a six year old in the party and they were brilliant in making sure because he didn’t want a traditional dinner that he had food to his liking with colouring items to keep him occupied. The beef dinner was extremely tasteful, plenty of it e.g . vegetables and a staff that brought drinks and food to the table promptly and with a smile. The price was extremely competitive considering the amount and value of the three course set menus. Gwych, arbennig.
