"I had a reservation but was turned away at the door because my 73-year-old father was wearing tracksuit bottoms. This was quite disappointing, especially since we had been there on a Saturday night before without any issues regarding his attire. I had thought this was a friendly, informal pub, so if there’s now a dress code, it would be helpful to communicate that when making online reservations for a Saturday night. Instead, we went to the Windsor in Penarth, and I would highly recommend it!"

Best local pub in Penarth, amazing atmosphere especially on weekends and during sports games. Great selection of draft and the best staff you can get. Super attentive and friendly and always happy to help. Highly recommend

What a lovely place to eat or drink, Staff were very courteous friendly smiled, good to see team enjoying themselves, lovely decor clean and tidy venue loved the open plan kitchen cooking area, was made to feel welcome and enjoyed my visit beer garden is also very nice I'd highly recommend you visit wide range of drinks and food on offer at reasonable prices Toilets also very clean and fresh

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff are also really friendly... you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority! Food is pretty good and a special mention to Jess, as she went above and beyond to ensure my daughter had plenty of choice (despite dietry requirements) I could not recommend this place enough, especially for their prices it’s 100% worth it. We will definitely be returning!
