I had spring rolls for the starter and chicken satay for the main course. It was a lovely dinner. The place is a hidden gem.

Called into the Rainbow for a Chinese meal. Delicious There are a few tables to allow you to sit in. Food was excellent and the staff really friendly Will call again next time we are up in the city

Opens at 4pm so ideal for a teatime meal. They will oblige with a particular meal if required. The staff seem helpful and friendly. The music being played was unsuitable for children (bad language).

We ordered food from this restaurant last night while staying at the Sheriff Mountain Lodge in Derry. The food was incredibly delicious and the portions were very generous. We ordered enough food for 5 people but it could have easily fed 7 or 8. From the chicken and beef dishes to the rice and noodles, everything was perfect. We will definitely be returning next time we are in Derry.

The service at this restaurant was slow from beginning to end. The young girl working there seemed disinterested and bothered. Although the food we ordered was nice, we were still looking for something else when she simply walked away. My husband became frustrated and left his meal, paid the bill, and we left without finishing our food. It was a waste. This restaurant definitely needs better service.

Tried this Chinese as close to my accommodation and good reviews. Pleasant area to sit upstairs and watch the street below. Friendly staff. Good value food as I had the 3 course set meal which is choice of starter, main rice, tea/coffee for £11.95. 2 spring rolls are huge, my main of beef with peppers in black bean sauce was large as was rice for 1 person. Not refined Chinese food but great value, tasty meal.

My wife and I stopped by for a late afternoon meal and were seated promptly since we were the only customers dining in. The menu offered a variety of traditional Chinese dishes and side options, along with the choice of a fixed price 3 or 4 course meal. We started off with a bowl of Hot Sour soup, which was perfect for the cold and rainy weather and tasted delicious. We also ordered spring rolls, which were larger than usual. I ordered the Kung Po Chicken, which had a unique twist but was still tasty, served with a generous portion of fried rice. My wife had ordered prawns, but was mistakenly served fried calamari.
