"Been to the restaurant and frequently had home deliveries. Always a great service (quick delivery and nice staff) rather expensive and sometimes worth it, but not always, like this evening. Order a Madras, get the spice level of a Korma. The curries are delicious, but asking for a hot curry seems to depend on which particular chef is cooking it. I've had really hot Madras (which I love and as it should be, as ordered) or like tonight, disappointing, more similar to a curry you'd order your toddler. It's a shame really, because they have beautiful curries, flavourful and delicious but if you want heat and order a curry that should have it, it's a lottery. In summary, random quality, very expensive. Doubt I'll order again."

After living in India, I can confidently say that this restaurant's food is just as good, if not better. The staff is friendly and attentive, the chef is incredible, and the menu is filled with enticing and authentic dishes with creative descriptions. The decor is clean and unique, and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the set meals offered on the menu.

Wow! Honestly the best Indian we have ever had! If we ever want a curry this is where we come too! Food is always piping hot (even if delivered), service is outstanding whether you eat in, collect or have it delivered. Food is delicious at all times and generally just a lovely place to eat! They have great vegan and vegetarian dishes too and are always accommodating to other dietary needs such as gluten allergies when we go with friends. Butter chicken is delicious!

The food at this restaurant is delicious and the service is great. The menu offers traditional items as well as a variety of more unique dishes, including fish and vegetarian specials and side dishes. The vegetable balti is superb, with fresh and flavorful vegetables perfectly spiced. The garlicky dhal is also delicious, as are the light and fluffy nan and chapatis. The restaurant is stylishly decorated, with a magnificent ladies' toilet. The staff are lovely, friendly, and very accommodating. The meal is excellent and good value for the high quality. We will definitely return next time we are in the area. Vegetarian options include a few specials as well as many veggie side dishes that can...

"We stayed here ten years ago and thought it was wonderful and worth every penny. We were so excited to return, but really Disapointed. The grounds are lovely and we were pleased with our room. The children loved the outdoor space and the pool What really let us down was the food and service. There was no luxury here. The family dining choices were poor. The children's meal was bad one had fish gougons and sweet potato fries which were very salty. The other two had pizza, the small was served as half a pizza, the large was a conventional round shape. Both were shop bought bases (cardboard) with grated Cheddar on the top. Something I would not feed them at home let alone expect in a supposedly high end dining. My husband's steak was chewy. My main, whole plaice with creamed potatoes, the potato was served in a ceramic dish and it was cold. It was taken away and then took ten minutes to return by which point I had eaten the fish. The food was incredibly expensive considering how poor the offerings were. The next day we ate a very late lunch in Bath so we would not have to eat at the hotel. The breakfast buffet area had some nice items but was really understocked and allowed to run to empty. The staff functioned but not at a steady rate, we found the service slow and the staff disinterested. Such a contrast to our previous visit. The person in charge we found sullen and felt as if our presence was an inconvenience. When we walked through to the dining areas we would hop out of the staff'so way for fear of being bulldozed. When we left the receptionist was polite but did not ask if we enjoyed our stay. A week later I had an email to complete a survey and nobody got in touch despite the same feedback as given here. Very dispointing. Lovely room and surroundings but poor food and poor attitude from staff. Last year we stayed in a hotel that cost 65% less than Wooley Grange and had a much better experience."

"We had a tremendously good lunch here today-the food was quite delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful-I’d say it’s probably one of the best lunches I’ve had in quite some time….so to give you a clue we both had the pork-this sounded really lovely and we were not disappointed-pork belly, tenderloin,a faggot and a ham hock croquet with mashed potato and roasted cauliflower with a delicious jus and a slice of pickled apple( which I ate immediately with a piece of pork and when the waiter came to ask how our lunch was I asked if he could possibly get me another piece-which he did For dessert we shared the passion fruit crème brûlée which came with a passion fruit sorbet and some chocolate soil…..the focaccia we had at the start of the meal was superb and the coffee was also excellent -we do enjoy both cooking and eating-one of life’s pleasures and it’s abundantly clear the chef absolutely loves food too-a great display of cooking books from the greats sort of got me thinking it would be a good lunch…….also worth noting the drinks menu-some lovely wines, soft drinks and cocktails both alcoholic and non alcoholic. I finished off with a mocha which was hot chocolatey but not too sweet. Bradford on Avon is most definitely worth a visit and I’d say you would be foolish to miss out on a great experience if you didn’t also pop in to the bunch of grapes for some sustenance while there… Thanks for lunch and as Arnie says “ we’ll be back”….."
