Great little place, staff helpful and friendly. Great for a quick bite to eat, and cheap also. Would come again, when in the area

Popped on for a drink and lunch. Extremely poor quality food. It was clearly cheap frozen stuff. Really awful and inedible. The staff were nice enough but it was freezing in there with young kids running around everywhere. Just awful.

amazing food! Friendly staff and fantastic environment: me and my girlfriend came here the other day for some food and drinks for the football, we both had steaks which were cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully would definitely recommend coming here! Speisekarte ansehen

So good to be able to visit the Red Lion again for a an excellent meal and a few drinks. Service was excellent, staff smiling and looking so happy to back doing what they do best. Food was hot tasty and excellent value for money. So nice see people enjoying themselves again. Matt the general manager even took time to ask the kids how they were. It's the little things that mean so much.

Visited the red lion today. Really glad it's back open. On arrival first thing I noticed was the work that's been down to the exterior of the pub, all the outside seating area has been repainted and looks really inviting, only waiting for the sunshine.The inside has also had a repaint. Since my last visit.Staff were friendly and helpful as usuall, Food was excellent as usuall and still great value for money.Keep up the good work we will be back soon.

Visited the red Lion again during half term to let my two children have a play in Fuzzy Heads. As you can imagine both Fuzzy Heads and the main restaurant area were very busy, what you would expect during half term, but the staff still very polite and smiling. Excellent service received from a lovely young lady in Fuzzy Heads who was very pleasant and attentive. Food arrived which was an excellent quality as usual both my children enjoyed the afternoon. This pub has really gone downhill. I went with my daughter and 2grandchildren for a meal .there was a 1hr and 15 min wait we were told. So we had drinks while waiting , but when the meal came the chips were only lukewarm , considering the time we waited we expected a lovely hot meal. Then the kids waited much longer for their ice creams There were tables not emptied and tidied while we were there it was. disgusting and the service was awful .i did mention this to a member of Staff we won’t be going there again ever.

Went out for the first time since March. Feeling quite anxious at what to expect. I was instantly impressed and put at ease.The extra has had some improvements and the whole inside of the pub has been painted. The pub looks so fresh and inviting.The staff are constantly cleaning services and sanitizing everything, stand still for too long and you could be sanitized as well.Food was excellent as usuall and excellent service with a smile even though they are getting used to the whole new system of table service. Keep up the good work your doing amazing in strange circumstances. we will be back.

Visited the Red Lion on a very rare sat evening when the family were all off together. Received very good service from alovleh lady I think here name was Sue. We placed the order which was quite complicated as my children are very fussy,and the order was received exactly as requested. The Sharing Platter was excellent value for money and very tasty.My husband Steak was cooked to perfection as not many establishments can get a blue steak right. My Son enjoyed his chicken fillet burger so much he ordered another one. If you want good food at a reasonable price and excellent service you wont go wrong here.
