eating was excellent for the price, personal friendly, beautiful to see, most of the standing furnture was fixed

eat good, but need to clean up something, chairs that need to recover. value for money and eating and service was good.

Came out for a few drinks with friends and had a great time, great atmosphere and superb service, would definitely recommend this pub to everyone.

Mixed grill had hard chips not cooked properly The steak was red when I asked for medium well done The egg had jelly on it where it wasn't cooked The play area had my child upset about wearing socks they sent her out Even tho...there was other kids without socks I used to enjoy it here it's seams dirty and the food wasn't good at all I got a refund and had to go somewhere else

Visited the red lion for a family meal for mums birthday. Very good service from start to finish. Served by a lovley lady I think her name was Sue, nothing was to much trouble. 3 steaks were ordered all cooked different ways and each one...was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommended the chicken and rib really tasty served with sizzling onions. Pub was extremly busy but still received excellent service and value for money. Thanks for a good night.

it took about 50 minutes to eat on a surprisingly quiet Friday evening. the waiter brought the food out, fed the teller down and went away without giving us any best or asking if we needed anything else. managed to dig...him, to point out and ask if my combed tweeper ring and anemic mais could be replaced on the cob, along with the missing tweeper rings from the meal of my friend. he came back with the cute, bowling rings and then disappeared again to leave me with my sad looking mais. the rest of the mixed grill was not great, somehow they managed to make every piece of meat on the plate rubbery and tasteless. definitiw will not be back if this is your accepted standard of food and service

Was greeted as i approached the bar with a welcoming smile. Me and my family were seated straight away and was presented with menus. We were served straight away at the bar. Once the food was put through, it was out and at our table...within 10-15 mins. The food was very delicious and the portions were very filling. Once our meals were finished with, the empty plates were removed from the table with haste. We then ordered deserts which came out the kitchen straight away and looked amazing. All the staff were very polite and very interactive throughout our time at the establishment and we were given a farewell as we left. I would highly recommend this pub to family looking for something new.

Had a lovely meal with close family the first time we've all been able to get together since the pandemic. We were a fairly large table and we had book a table in advance of course, we were all seated in a function room separate...from the restaurant, it was great for the younger kids as we were better able to keep th contained. We had the kids play in the wacky for a bit whilst we were deciding on our meals and more importantly our drinks. We ordered and our meals came out swiftly, the staff were very accomadating to our request for minor alterations to some items and they were great with our youngest allergy to milk. Very dissatisfied with service received, ignorant and rude staff don’t know the meaning of good customer service. Manners cost nothing, after waiting to get served in front of a woman and three screaming children running around I was asked to move over to the other...side of the bar as I’ve went to move over closer to get served this disgraceful woman behind decides to barge past to go in front when the staff member was clearly talking to my self but instead of saying anything continued anyway to serve this woman. After 10 minutes of standing by the bar which was fairly quiet anyway I managed to get served by the staff lady who must of left her manners in bed if she ever had any who advised...
