"we decided to book a table after reading the tripadvisor comments and we are very satisfied! The entrances were delicious: salad of the sharp tip and the gratin of shrimp. (Ci-joint photos).We took the burger savoyard asking for a point cooking and the other blue. Gold, after cutting the burgers we found a bad steak cooking. The chief made us two new impeccable plates. the hamburger and the frittes were .de plus, we opted for an excellent tatin pie with its vanilla ice ball. We had the surprise at the addition of having the dessert offered, we thank the team, we will return."

breakfast and dinner taken in this establishment. cooking as prices are correct. The staff is pretty nice. nothing exceptional but it makes good not to feel scammed like a tourist.

Day of celebration at the Grand Boundary on Tuesday 15 August. We've tasted the sharp tip. the terrace is very pleasant and very well located in the heart of the village. the pancakes are good without being exceptional.

day of rain on the big stud, we arrive in this restaurant and we took a tartiflette and a large salad, especially the tartiflette that made frozen flat! We ate much better later. The welcome is good but without blossom because we are many! The dishes were good for the price paid. possibility of desserts at small prices so we made a little pleasure in addition. Crêpes and ice. speed of service appreciated. just the feeling of being in a canteen because the tables are very close. Noisy when full stay. profitability but without denigrating the quality of the products offered.

This is the second stay we make at the Grand-bornand and we take our meals in this restaurant. We are delighted with the services, the friendliness and kindness of all the people who work there. Meals are very good, of good quality and sufficient quantities. For those who have more appetite, you should not hesitate to ask again and this without extra charge. Don't forget to taste the homemade blueberry pie as well as the fine pie. It's a treat.We're looking forward to going back and enjoying ourselves again.Thank you to the whole team that made us spend a great stay.

"Found this little place having walked away from one of those dreadful restaurants, where you arrive and the place is empty, and the snotty receptionist asks 'do you have a reservation? ' Instant put off in this day and age. So we walked. I treated a friend to supper, as she is going through a tough time, and it was the perfect choice. One tip, don 't be seduced by the first photo with the fire. We actually didn 't dress as warmly as we might have because we thought a fire in a small restaurant would be too hot. There isn 't one. But it is still lovely. Just dress with layers. The food menu is not large but it is really interesting and I have to say the food was fresh and a mixture of healthy, modern and delicious. The wine menu is also very good with something for everyone. The service was brilliant and the chap was so lovely and friendly he even told me my broken french was really good; Bless him. Left him a big tip. So to start, I had ceviche of three fish salmon, trout and (I should remember but don 't ; but it was exquisite see the photo. My friend had fresh home made butternut squash soup which was delicious as I helped her finish it off. For mains Sue had Tartiflette al la anciene (without cream and meat and had a small plank of ham as an accompaniement. I opted for a salad with chicken livers which wsa delicious. We shared a chef special for pud Coque aux Fruits which was like a think chocolate cup filled with exotic fruit and lime and it was really scrummy. Will def go back. Would probably share a starter as well as pud as they are a good size."
