"We are visitors from Australia renting a nearby gite and who will be cycle racing at the Albi event. We were looking forward to a nice dinner. The service at the restaurant was ok but the main meal was poor. The entree of duck pate was passable but the beef from the main meal was tough and very chewy, had to spit it out. The meat was a cheaper cut cooked badly. There was no joy in the meal. The dinner was from a set menu of three courses. Very disappointed, we didn't bother waiting for the third course (dessert)."

Only one server seems a little just to me for a room with almost 40 blankets. Map of wines a little succinte and salty note for the meal served. This place is memorable.

Positive decor friendly. Point negative catastrophic service a true snack waited for 1 hour before taking order no drink or proposed water. For food I can't say being left the table seen the behavior of the server.

we went back by assart in the restaurant we found a beautiful room and an excellent welcome by two young women very smiling, we took grilled food cooked at the fire to walk was a feast a meat of very good quality fresh produce was excellent. A Sunday in October during school holidays. 17:30, I call to book a table for 2; reservation taken into account for 19:30.19:10; restaurant sms informing me that the reservation is cancelled for technical problem. By the way, in front of the establishment, one sees a person close and leave the place. Very limited

after a few visits, our opinion is always the same: great. good meat cooked with wood fire, home accompaniment, good meat. rich and tasty. Finally always as good! world dirty glasses during the visit but the waiting was rather long. On-board dishes are not in correlation with the plate. example: gambas persillées I'm still looking for the parsillade. Another example: carpaccio of pineapple marinated in the badiane out I had a carpaccio of pineapples with a syrup to the badiane. I don't advise. I don't advise. I'll let you make your opinion.

generous kitchen with excellent value for money. Very good quality meats, grilled with wood fire. Excellent vegetarian pizza (my husband rarely ate such a good one)The outdoor play area allows parents to spend the meal more peaceful and children to spend in a green and rural setting. The boss and the boss are great people and will be able to advise you if you have trouble deciding. the staff is just as warm and professional. We will return there without hesitation during a next visit to the region.

"Situé au beau milieu de la campagne à quelques encablures de Cordes sur Ciel le Cayrols est fidèle à sa réputation. Nous avons déjeuné en extérieur. Les tables sont bien espacées, ce qui permet de déjeuner en toute tranquillité et avec l 'intimité adéquate. Les plats sont goûteux, très bien exécutés et présentés. Le chef maîtrise son sujet, ça se voit et ça se sent. La carte est minimaliste, gage de fraîcheur et de fait maison . Nous avons débuté par le foie gras mi-cuit, accompagné par une marmelade d 'abricots et une émulsion à la lavande, délicieux, une explosion de saveurs. Nous avons continué avec le magret de canard et sa cuisson parfaite et les Saint-Jacques accompagnées de rizotto à l 'encre de sèche, un régal. Pour le dessert nous avons opté pour le gâteau au citron et le dessert au chocolat, tous les deux délicieux. L 'entrée à été accompagnée par un verre de Gaillac doux et un Gaillac rouge pour le magret. Bon accord mets-vins. Les portions sont bien équilibrées, ce qui n 'est pas toujours le cas dans un restaurant gastro . Le menu entrée, plat et dessert est de 35€ et franchement c 'est très correct au vu de la qualité des produits. Le vin au verre est d 'un prix raisonnable. C 'est une belle découverte, nous y reviendrons. Je vous le conseille particulièrement pour passer un très agréable déjeuner."
