Convenient quayside restaurant with wonderful views over the St Gilles Croix de Vie estuary. If you like watching boats ... and love a good pizza, what's not to like about this friendly restaurant? Try the Pizza Paysanne!

Restaurant sympa, les pizzas sont délicieusement agrémentées, mais attention toutefois, la pâte très fine peut risquer de ne pas rassasier les plus gourmands.Ce n'est pas mon cas, car pour une fois, j'ai eu faim jusqu'au dessert !Je recommande.

Nous y allions régulièrement mais depuis quelques mois c'est une dégringolade de qualité, de quantité sur les pizzas, et cela ressemble plus à une cantine qu'à un restaurant. On est serré les uns aux autres, à tel point que l'on mange avec son voisin, il n'y a plus d'intimité et le service c'est rendement, rendement !

Family of 6 16, 14 and 11 year old, plus mother in law .... came for the night market and were lucky to find this gem. Arrive just after seven and were seated promptly, the restaurant then quickly filled up. Food was great pizza, moules, steak and chips. Price was good €110 for 6 including drinks. Service was the best, looked after us from start to finish attentive with water and bread. Highly recommend this place

Have been to this fabulous restaurant on several occasions now and have always been treated well and enjoyed every mouthful of food that I had particularly from La Riviera's extensive menu. I recently took my ex-wife and my eldest daughter who was visiting me from Australia and they both blown away by the service, food and atmosphere that the management and staff create for all their customers. i can thoroughly recommend this restaurant who is looking for a culinary delight. Nouveau sur Saint Gilles en début d'année 2017, nous voulions tester une pizzeria et donc, nous avons fait confiance aux commentaires ... Mais nous avons été déçu !Certes, nous avons été bien accueilli (3 personnes), par contre, le repas laissait a désirer, les Pizzas n'étaient vraiment pas bonne, une pâte fine qui n'avait aucun gout et complètement dur (pâte surgelée). La garniture n'était pas non plus fameuse, une bouillie posée sur une galette aurait fait le même effet ...Nous avons radié cette adresse de notre carnet et ne conseille pas du tout !

We were looking for a child friendly pizza restaurant and a table for 10, so arrived early as we had seen the TA reviews.... we were not disappointed. The children’s menu was great and all 4 enjoyed their meals... drinks, pizza and spaghetti Bol and ice cream for pud..... The adults had pizza, moules and a boeuf soufflé which was a calzone and very tasty... we tried a local aperitif and the recommended rosé wine... the trio of panna cotta was amazing, if a little large!! Our bill was around €170 with drinks etc so we were very happy.... The waiter was cheerful, friendly and efficient with such a large group, with ages from 3 to 71! Hier nous sommes aller manger dans cette pizzeria avec mon compagnon. Déjà pendant que l'on attendais une table qui se libère nous étions installer sur des tabourets devant le comptoir ou les pizzas sont préparées hors la un des pizzaiolo met du fromage sur une pizza puis ce lèche les doigts.... et continu sa préparation HORRIBLE. De la on s'installe je commande un verre de vin, il y avait des petits morceaux blanc qui flottaient dans mon verre je le ramène gentillement au bar pour en demander un autre et la, la patronne s'approche et me dit mots pour mots "estimer vous heureuse déjà vous avez à a manger et à boire" comment dire que je paye pour sa donc j'estime avoir le droit d'avoir quelqu...

We came here after looking at Trip Advisor reviews, after mourning the end of our regular restaurant for 15 years. This is really good place to eat: lovely waiters and warm friendly welcome , very nice setting, casual and relaxed, good food and prices , with superb service. Next to us was a man who had been coming here every Wednesday for 18 years and had had exactly the same dish! We had gambas prawns for starters cooked in great sauce with a side salad, then I had lamb served with delicious light but tasty chips and pineapple with ice cream. The bar fish with rice looked very good, very generous main courses. We both had the 21 euro menu but there was another 3 course option at 15 euro 50....
