Oceania - Speisekarte

There was a good choice on the menu for all including a 7 year old. Menu de jour was great value. The staff were very friendly and helpful with translations. Steak and mussels were the stars for us...

Unbelievable location, we sat outside when the sea was swallowed by the side. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. The food was presented very well with a decent selection. The Café-Gourmand at the end was excellent.

We have visited the town lots over the last few years however this was the first time at Oceania. The staff were great and make customers feel very welcome. The food was great, very fresh, and the whole experience makes it a place we will definitely visit again.

Visited on the strength of '#3 restaurant in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie status', but no different from any premises serving similar food in the town. Moules frites plentiful and well presented (attached image) but one of the three servings was on the cold side. Nice pizza though and friendly service.

Great service, nice to children. Food was nice -- moules & frites. Pizza and gallete for the kids (wish they had a little more choice for the kids menu -- maybe moules and pizza). Very fast. High chairs were available and decent (which isn't always true). Wait staff were quite friendly, always with a smile to us and our children. So nice!

We had a nice meal here, a beautiful location with a view of the sea. The waitress Elsa, spoke very well English, besides our rather moderate French. We ordered le Formule, the three course set menu, and it was very good value for money The vegetarian in our... party ate well, and the seafood and steaks were also ordered by our small group and were delicious. The desserts were generous and delicious. We would definitely eat again here.

We went today to Oceania and enjoyed a very nice meal. We were three and ordered: cheeseburger, Vendée burger and a bavette. They were all very good and tasty. We were also very pleased with the desserts which were big and tasty: dame Blanche with...its very nice chocolate sauce, cafe liégeois tasted very nice and After Eight was original and very good. Service was also nice and spot on. We are looking forward to our next meal there, with a nice view on the ocean.

Really friendly staff that is hard to welcome and serve. In general, a range of grilled meat or fish, mouth and burgers. Unfortunately, the quality of meat in the entrecote ordered by my wife and my mixed grill, which was usually a well-baked...Meal in a sociable atmosphere. The prices in France have tipped over the last two or three years (and I do not mean because of the exchange rate), so we would have expected better for what would have been a rather expensive food somewhere else. ... but the staff was great!

We have been going to this promenade at St Gilles for 17 years now and love the setting, great views, a wide sandy beach at low tide and a length of beach that goes on for ever.This was our first time at Oceania and, as old hands, we were impressed.We had very generous amounts of moules a la campagnarde : mussels with bacon, cheese and onion sauce. Great chips to go with it, tasty, delicate and not gross in size but enough to complement the mussels if that does not sound too daft.Then great crepe with chocolate and banana, as old staple choice, but here it was almost artistic.
