Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Staff were so friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this little eatery.

We are fortunate to have Rices as our neighborhood restaurant, as the food and service are consistently excellent. My husband and I went there to celebrate my birthday, and the food was delicious as usual. I highly recommend it.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times and have always been impressed. The friendly staff greeted us warmly and explained the menu well. You just can’t beat it… you can travel far and wide but Rice’s food and friendly service is top class…had a great dinner on Saturday evening … sea bass fillets, parsnip and carrot purée, spicy wedges and parsnip crisps… followed by delicious chocolate mouse in a tea cup…it all looked great as it arrived at the table, but tasted even better… thanks to Terry, Caolan and all the staff.

After feeling hungry for lunch, we decided to stop by this restaurant for a sandwich. We were greeted by friendly staff and ordered a Veggie wrap with garlic and chilli chips. The wrap turned out to be quite unusual, filled with broccoli, peas, carrots, and what seemed like curry powder. The chips were not typical fries, but rather slices and bits of potatoes coated in sweet chilli sauce. The menu description could definitely use some clarification, or perhaps a different filling for the wrap would be a better option.

We were a large group. Gotta say it was a heck of a disappointment with the only five star parts the welcome from the staff and the pleasant ambiance. The food was poor to awful. The overall consensus was it wasn’t worth it quality v cost. I had a vegetable curry and boiled rice. It was a Chinese style curry sauce supermarket bought and to add insult to injury this was overpriced at £12. The predominant vegetable was broccoli and not much else. It was the worst meal I’ve had in a few years. Those who had pizzas in our group disliked them as both said what they each got was doughy and again they felt factory made, bought in bases with each costing a rip off £15.
