Fantastic food! Everything we tried was superb. Although we aren't vegetarian, the vegetarian options of salt baked celeriac and the Jerusalem artichoke were our favourites. We'll definitely be back again soon.

Awesome food. Everything was outstanding, discovered you by chance thanks to Google maps last Friday on the way up to Peterhead and were back yesterday. Some of the best I've ever eaten. The venison liver was stunning

had the most amazing lunch today in the roost restaurant. every piece of the Scrabster-Kid with a Valisian rake was to die for. including the pesto, and the strip-shaped tomatoes. will definitely be back to try the dinner menu. Speisekarte ansehen

Fabulous meal. Covid secure. Top quality ingredients used in all dishes and cooked very well. Service was good, friendly efficient waitress and nice gaps between courses. Did not feel rushed at all. Loved all the food. Would definitely return.

there was only a fantastic meal in the restaurant the roost. very accomodating and friendly service. nice touch was the free child menu for under 10’s. the chef is certainly cook to a high standard. even the puddings are surprisingly unique with multi-layered and fascinating taste. highly recommended.

recently, this was the first time we had lunch. it was the best meal I had since my eating in gleneagles last October. Perfect in portions and I could taste all the different aromes. wonderful! I recommend to all my friends and my family. my only negatiw is that the restaurant is very small and join tables so private conversations not possible. Speisekarte ansehen

we went to Sunday midday a great reception at the arrival followed by a beautiful champagne and rhabarb cocktail while we looked at our menus. my man and I had a hospitable with us who had eaten with us all week and noticed: “The lunch was the best I had this week in the did in a long time “ was deliciously highly recommended a visit spot on yum

We had lunch booked at the Peat Inn, but they cancelled so we booked this place as a fall back. Well, am I glad we did, absolutely superb food (Pork belly, Chateaubriand and chocolate tart) made with top quality ingredients, the service was unhurried and all in a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back. The Peat Inn's loss is The Roost's gain!

A lovely little restaurant. Was very quiet when we went. The place is lovely. The staff friendly and helpful. Not your everyday food sold here, so it was a nice change to try something different. The sides are enough to share and unique and really nice. I had the monkfish and it was yum. Not really a place to bring kids due to the type of meals. But a must go to place Speisekarte ansehen
