The North Port Restaurant

Fabulous lunch! Thank you for making it extra special. Make a point of visiting here whenever in Perth. I honestly cannot fault the quality, value and service. It is by far my favourite restaurant in Perth

The restaurant is charming and offers a diverse menu. The only issue I had was with the bathroom being located upstairs with narrow stairs and limited lighting. There may have been a disabled toilet on the main restaurant level, but I am unsure.

Excellent food ,excellent service. Highly recommend this as a good dining experience. We visit this restaurant at least once a year when in Scotland, only down side is on street parking or pay as you park opposite the restaurant but other that that 5star rating. Speisekarte ansehen

We enjoyed a relaxed Lunch in this quiet Restaurant. Choosing the set menu which had an excellent selection of dishes. Presentation of each dish was excellent. Service was attentive and friendly. Every element of each dish was sourced from local suppliers as far as possible.

The service was excellent, the food was incredible, and the prices were very reasonable. For starters, we had the Perthshire venison and Perthshire chanterelles. For our mains, we enjoyed the chicken (the name escapes me) and the rib eye steak. To finish off the meal, we indulged in milk chocolate mousse and yeast parfait for dessert.

The restaurant greeted us warmly and served complimentary bread and dips. While there weren't many options for vegetarians, the dishes we did have were delicious. The lamb was especially outstanding, as it practically fell apart. The variety of vegetables was impressive. My son raved that the dessert was the best he had ever tasted. We also received complimentary truffles. We will definitely be coming back, especially since there is convenient parking nearby. Speisekarte ansehen

We had made an online reservation beforehand and were a bit late, which was no problem at all. The place is very fancy though not stiff and the service was friendly and helpful at all times although the place was fully booked. They have a wonderful meal selection and great wines. We had Arbroath Smokie and Mackerel as starters and Lamb Rump as main course. As dessert we had cheese. Anything was just perfect not only to the tongue but to the eye as well. Too bad it was our only night in Perth.

We splashed out and had 3 courses each here for my birthday the other week. Staff overheard me talking about my bday and took the initiative to decorate my dessert with writing and a candle (hubbie admitted he did not arrange in advance! They also seemed understaffed that day, so we really did appreciate it. You could tell the food had not travelled far to reach the table and was prepared and presented expertly. I had venison to start, monkfish cheeks for main, and crowdie for dessert. Every single bite was delicious. Highly recommend!

We were lucky enough to score the last free table for their three course pre theatre sitting. The restaurant is lovely, stylishly furnished only slight downside is a spiral staircase to access the toilets which may cause problems to some with limited mobility. The complimentary starter of warm, homemade bread, lemon butter and pea dip set the tone for the meal delicious, as was the haggis, neeps tatties and cod pate starters. The coley with smoked haddock was unusual and very flavourful, as was the pork shoulder, and we fought over the hand cut chips! I had a lovely dessert of apples, elderflower ganache and gooseberry ice cream whilst my partner chose Cheddar which was eye wateringly strong... Speisekarte ansehen
