Ruchee - Speisekarte

Had stopped going to this restaurant having had some poor experiences a few years ago. Decided to try again.Now under a different management. Good service and friendly. We had an excellent meal and now will make it our number one choice Note that you can take your own alcohol. There was however one blip....... a large soda and lime cost£4.50

This is our go to takeaway, always arrives on time and was delicious as always! Definitely recommend the Chicken tikka masala (the bright red sweet one) Chicken bhuna and lamb goan Love the chicken pakoras and onion bhajis Tried the veg samosa for first time tonight and were lovely and fresh Find it a little on the pricey side but food is good

This was the most amazing Christmas lunch, the staff are always friendly and helpful but we have been before on a Christmas day and it always excels. The food is beyond any other asian food I've tasted and the chef and his assistant are just awesome. It is a wonderful meal of excellent quality at a reasonable price with a relaxing atmosphere, what more could anyone ask for. Speisekarte ansehen

We used to come here often and loved it. But tonight we were left very disappointed. Firstly we were with an 18 month old baby and the high chair we were provided with was filthy. And had to ask for the high chair to be cleaned. The seat and the straps were discoloured, sticky, and yellow. When the starters arrived, one of them were missing so had to wait for them to order another. And the chicken pakoras were small and over cooked. The salad was small and certainly not fresh. Other than the slow service the mains were ok, but overall compared to how the ruchee used to be. It is now very poor.

Had not been to the Ruchee for quite some time and had a meal there one recent Saturday. It was very quiet, which was a shame as our meal and the service were all excellent, it was during the late August heat wave, hence why it was probably so quiet. Service was really good, attentive, but not too fussy. We loved our pickle tray starters and the poppadoms were really fresh and good quality. All had lovely mains varied choices from Korma, rogan josh good food all really enjoyed and realise we should eat here more often, on the door step, take your own booze, which makes it a lot cheaper. Grand night out.

No poppadoms for a start couldn’t believe it they take no room to store and less than a minute to cook!!! and no serviettes on the table or offered at any time. The front of house reception was dirty piled high with dirty pots, glasses and empty bottles which looked disgusting. The front of house manager should have it looking spotless. Staff should be clearing as they go large pieces of food under the table should be swept up. Makes you wonder what the cleanliness in the kitchen is like when front of house looks so dirty. Food was mediocre but small portions. This place needs a better manager and staff with initiative otherwise people will just not visit again. We would not rush back sorry... Speisekarte ansehen

We ate as a family of 5 (2 adults,3kids) on a Thursday at 7pm. Staff were friendly however service was slow to take our order and send the starters out despite the restaurant being quiet, takeaways seemed to be taking priority as plenty were coming out of kitchen to the delivery driver. Food was tasty with generous portions although my Pathia was far hotter than it should have been, vindaloo heat rather than madras … I’ve had a few in my time! Seemed expensive at £82 with only two soft drinks paid for. BYO alcohol. Maybe we should have brought a 2l bottle of Lidl Irn-Bru as the table opposite did even though there’s clear signs saying don’t bring soft drinks!! Drinks glasses had been provide...

We've been here about 2 years and am glad to say we have found our best Indian resturant/takeaway. The food always arrives within the allocated time slot and is always hot and delicious and the portion size is very generous. We had family over on Friday evening and it was a unanimous decision to order from Ruchee so we set the task to our son in law who checked the menu and our choices at least three times to make sure he got it right. Unfortunately he selected the pick up rather than delivery as we waited we treated ourselves to a glass of wine. When we realised our mistake we called the restaurant and asked for it to be delivered, our food arrived within 15 minutes hot fresh and delicious...

Visited recently for a Birthday Party, was sat for over two hours before getting our main (came at 7, left near 10pm! . When it showed my meal was extremely oily (literally filled another bowl with the oil on top and everybody had rubbery chicken. We complained straight away and the response was 'well nobody else has complained about the chicken tonight ' after waiting so long we decided to leave. When paying for the bill we refused to pay for mains because nobody touched theirs but they were adamant we had to pay for the starters which we did. There was no apology for the terrible service and it was as though they hadn 't realised that we had been there so long. Personally I feel that this... Speisekarte ansehen
