"Small frontage but surprisingly spacious, clean and comfortable restaurant. We're doing meat-free May so wanted somewhere with no meaty smells or options and this was perfect. Tried some new dishes the dhosa was amazing and I'll definitely be going back for that. I got to try pani puri which was fun and surprisingly tasty for what it was. We'll be back next time we're in the vicinity. Service was pleasant but nothing special the food is definitely a reason to return though."

Place is good for quality South Indian food and other Indian fare. Very noisy in service and high noise of serving utensils and glasses all over.

Service could have been more attentive-we had to call for menus and food took a long time to come to the table. While my friends enjoyed their dishes mine arrived cold. The food was quite good but not exceptional.

The food tasted excellent. Rajasthani thali and the udupi thali tasted fantastic. Service was dull and not welcoming. We were charged 12.5% service tax for this. No music or nothing and the restaurant felt hot today

The restaurant offers a fantastic menu with a wide variety of interesting choices. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is pleasant and quiet. Located near Leicester Square, I will definitely come back if I am in the area again.

The food is reasonable for typical Indian dishes. I have had better dosas at Saravana Bhavan. The puris was the best dish that I ordered at this sitting. They were crunchy and were filled with ample ingredients. Masala tea was overpriced as it was just a normal cuppa. Nothing exceptional about it. The vada were large and came in 2 pieces. They were still warm when served.

We ordered a traditional thali and were surprised to find that most of the items were in liquid form in small bowls, with only two dishes that could be eaten with a fork. The dessert was also in liquid form and very sweet. The server informed us after we finished that we had chosen incorrectly. The thali was pricey at £19.95, and the service was slow. There were no indications on the menu that the thali would be mostly liquid.
