"My family and I were visiting Italy for the week and we had some fantastic meals. One of the highlights, if not the highlight, were the two meals we had at San Telmo. The servers are lovely and ours was a terrific young lady from the Lake Como region. She and the other servers were extremely well trained and did a terrific job. We stopped in after the Inter-Celtic match at the San Siro as we were staying nearby. The food, the service and the setting were so remarkable that we went back the next night. In a great food city like Milan with so many different options that's really saying something! The menu is a mix of Italian and Argentine favorites. Argentina itself is heavily Spanish and Italian influenced so they have terrific food. I didn't try the steak but hopefully I will try that and the lamb chops whenever we find ourselves back in Milan. The chorizo (Spanish Sausage) is a wonderful starter with great flavor. We mainly stuck to pasta and the Ragu Antica is one of the best I've ever had. This is a real gem of a place and although it looks unassuming from the outside the ambiance inside is top notch. If this restaurant were in my neighborhood I'd eat here at least once a week! It's a special place. They also have tango dancers on certain nights which is a real treat. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough and they bent over backwards to make our visit special. We took our 20 month year old son here on a Friday night and he was well looked after too. Lovely touches like offering Prosecco before you order make this a most memorable place. I miss the food and service there already!"

Ottimo ristorante per appassionati di carne, alla griglia e non solo. Il conto è stato tutto sommato in linea con il menù, forse un tantino in relazione alle porzioni, ma la qualità ripaga, fatta eccezione per coperto, acqua e dolce, i cui prezzi sono eccessivi, a mio avviso. Cenano in questo locale dove la carne la fa da padrona indiscussa. L'arredamento carino e intimo, bella la mise en place. Luci soffuse, ideale per cena intima di coppia. Personale gentile e preparato. La cucina, a vista e aperta verso la sala, non lascia particolare fumo e odore nonostante le quantit di carni cotte alla griglia (bravi Rispetto al prezzo mi sarei atteso qualcosa di pi (da qui le 3 stelle). Magari non sono stato fortunato nella scelta del piatto costine di vitello che sono risultate molto grasse e per buona parte immangiabili (costando 30 Mia moglie ha preso manzo con le uova all'occhio di bue, meglio delle costine ma nulla di eclatante. Nel complesso mi sento di consigliarlo...

We have been to the San Telmo for the first time after having seen the place in a TV show. It is a cosy and extremely well kept place and upon arrival we have been swiftly walked to our table. The service in general has been wonderful and caring. The owner has taken our order and has given us advice what kind of meat to chose. We have not been disappointed. We ordered starters (Fagottini) then 3 filets and 1 entrecote. The meats have been exactly to the point and supertender and the sidedishes were nice, too. We loved it. For desert we had 2 Tiramisu and 1 Sorbet. Very tasty, too. Some drinks (cokes, 1 beer, 1 glass of whine, several bottles of water). The total bill for 4 people: 202 €. Not...
