"A group of 9 of us dined at this restaurant for my daughter's birthday. The ambiance was nice, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. I ordered a steak that was cooked perfectly. Overall, we couldn't fault the restaurant and had a great experience."

"Was there with my gf for a short day trip to Doncaster. Everything about this place was fab. We ordered (cold plate) tuna tartar, (hot plates) mussels and scallops. We also open a bottle of white wine to go with the seafood. The seafood was all fresh and properly seasoned. We were amazed immediately after the first plate (tuna tartar) was served. But the most impressive dish to us was the mussels. Unlike the other two dishes, the mussels really lacked plating. but the mussels matched really well with the creamy sauce and the crusty bread. We at the end even soaked all the crusty bread to the really delicious sauce. It was an open kitchen setting and we got to watch how the two chefs cooked the food while we were eating. An overall very pleasant experience. We spent no more than £60 for three exceptional dishes with a bottle of wine!! It was worth travelling all the way from London to try it out. This time when we went here we were told that they were out of oysters on bank holidays. That was a shame but we will be back for the oysters!!! "I was fortunate enough to enjoy another fantastic meal at The Gourmet Dining Room last night. The experience was flawless from beginning to end. The standout dish for me was the amuse bouche, a cheese and onion tart. I absolutely loved it - the pastry was buttery and crumbly, and it was bursting with cheesy flavor. The meal started with warm bread and butter, followed by the cheese and onion tart, a tomato salad with tomato gel and Caesar dressing, halibut with a delicious tuile, tender beef with smoked cauliflower puree, a tropical fruit palate cleanser, and a trio of chocolate. I was so impressed by the food that I forgot to take a photo before digging in! As a bonus, they also give you a little gift to take home, which I believe was a flapjack. The atmosphere was delightful and lively, and the service was excellent. You can bring your own drinks, but glassware is provided. Thank you, Michael and Toni, for a wonderful dining experience!"

"Dreambakes staff are very welcoming and was nice to see a that most menu options had a vegan alternative. I had a oat milk flat white, was great to see they use local speciality coffee such as Darkwoods from Huddersfield and they showed knowledge in making the coffee. Lovely latte art to. For my meal I had a spicy cheese toastie on sourdough. The alternative to make this vegan was to swap out the usual cheese they use to a smokey one. Arrived very well present with extras such as salad leaf, slaw and crisps. I did feel they cheese in the toastie was a little on the spare side and it didn't really melt, could definitely taste the smoke through the cheese which I loved. I don't know why but unless the venue is full vegan I don't always trust items such as pasta as it came on my children's plates to who had ham sandwiches. Overall I was pleased. I also say they did a few vegan cakes such as a banoffee shortcake and choco concrete. Also nice to see they sell the coffee beans to and have guest coffees. It's great to see more vegan friendly places in Doncaster"

"We visited here for lunch, and had the all you can eat menu for There’s a great choice of dishes, more than any tapas restaurant I’ve been to before. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the service was quick. The food was...amazing, we didn’t go crazy and had dishes between the two of us, which was just enough for lunch. You can have more if you want it, but for lunch that was enough for us. It was fairly quiet, which is understandable for a Wednesday at They really deserve to have more people in with such a good menu and bargain price."
