For our first visit, we were pleasantly surprised as it exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The staff was excellent and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was absolutely fantastic, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. We will definitely return soon and will recommend it to our friends and colleagues.

I visited Shadona for the second time, and while the food remained enjoyable, it took longer to arrive compared to my first visit, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. The staff were not as attentive this time around. Additionally, I found a fly in the onion salad that accompanied the poppadoms. When we received the bill, it was 50% higher than during my previous visit, despite having the same number of diners and ordering similar meals. Overall, I was disappointed with this experience. This is simply our favorite Indian restaurant in the city and the surrounding Hertfordshire and Essex area. We frequently visit with family and friends, and it never disappoints! The value for money is exceptional, especially considering the quality of the food and service. On Sundays, they offer a buffet for those looking for an even better deal, which is perfect for kids. The atmosphere is fantastic, making it an ideal spot for enjoyable meals with loved ones or a great place for a curry night with the boys.
