beautiful place, but expensive. as a side, the tongue-tooths seem to be predominantly red bevel and mayo. can be weathered please!

beautiful location, in the park before or after the visit, the main attraction, it was a wonderful day, sitting outside enjoy the sun and having lunch and a coffee. really pleasant.

we had cake and coffee, and as always the personal eager to please. a bit disappointed than not eating because it is early to close how the trade is slow. but still cake did the trick

The service and food at this restaurant were excellent. Our group ordered a panini, omelette, sausage bagel, and a sausage, cheese, and onion toastie, all of which were well-made and delicious. The drinks were also very good.

Came today for lunch. Just had to say the prawn salad was amazing. We had it with smoked salmon and just had to comment how nice lunch was. We have been before lots of times and always enjoyed it. Bacon cheese panini £5.45) with chips £1.45 extra) : absolutely awful, a rasher of bacon, scant cheese covering and 11 half cooked frozen chips! No garnish or anything nice at all. Expensive and very poor quality. The low point of a very good visit the the excellent Shibden hall. Go to the hall, don’t eat here.

During our visit to Halifax to pick up an eBay purchase, the couple recommended this restaurant for a leisurely stroll and a cup of coffee. We opted for three generously sized cooked breakfasts, all of which were delicious and satisfying. The vegetarian breakfast stood out for its tasty and flavorful components. While the hot chocolate was just average, the coffee and tea were both excellent. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I visited Shibden Mereside Cafe today for a light lunch, it was our second visit in three weeks. Last time, we were seated in the extended area as it was busy. The food and staff are generally good, but we were put off when staff started clearing up and stacking chairs on tables while we were still eating. Today, we arrived early and sat in the extended area again. At 2:15pm, a staff member came in and started cleaning, lifting chairs onto tables. One customer asked what time they were closing and was told 4:30pm. This made us feel unwelcome. I hope the manager reads this review and addresses the issue.
