"The best Thai restaurant in the UK I’ve tried many different Thai restaurants in the UK. Pajaree’s is by far the best and most authentic Thai restaurant in the UK. Everything is amazing and freshly cooked especially the prawn crackers dipped with homemade sauce. Strongly recommend the traditional Thailand soup: Dong Yum Gong, which is highly popular in Asia. Fried rice is also my favorite. I love this Thailand so much that I hope I can come every day: It’s just so delicious, healthy and fresh."

"Small restaurant, with great food. We were lucky to get a table on a Saturday evening, considering we hadn't booked. Looked tiny on arrival. However, there is an upstairs. Decor is basic, and it felt more like a popular takeaway had decided to create some seating. However, the service was friendly. Alcohol was available, and it appeared to be a popular spot. The food was the best part of the experience. We both had chicken Shish. The chicken had great flavour and was perfectly cooked. All the side salad was nice and fresh. The mushroom starter was nicely flavoured. No wonder it's highly rated. It gets the food right."

"Just wow! I can’t believe we have only just found this place! It is an absolute gem! We had private dining for my 50th birthday and it was perfect in every way! We had the tasting menu which was absolutely delicious l. Every course was a delight and our guests (who are all foodies) all commented on how wonderful it was. The table was beautifully decorated and the service was impeccable and the team were so friendly and accommodating. I loved the fact we could take our own playlist and they moved the table out after dinner so we could have a dance floor! It really could not have been any better and we wouldn’t go anywhere else if we had another celebration meal to plan! . Thank you so much Gimbals for making our night so perfect x"

"Thankfully we only went for dinner, or at least we tried. It would seem that the Stump Cross has gone down hill since I last ate there in 2016-ish. The interior now looks very tired, there is tape sticking down carpets, it feels very sparse. All in all, it feels like a down-market Toby Carver but more expensive (and you don’t get any food, more to follow on that)! We went for a Sunday roast however it was just a bog-standard carvery. Not to worry we thought, the menu online seems to imply quite “posh” food. On the contrary, the Sunday offering is variations of carvery meats with vegetables, and a small selection of other less impressive dishes. Ultimately, we both decided on the Yorkshire pudding wrap, containing beef and gravy, with some roast potatoes on the side. I can’t tell you what it was like, because we waiting almost an hour and no food arrived; we had asked several times and were repeatedly told it was coming out in five minutes In the end, we rang another restaurant to ensure availability, and told the waitress to cancel the order and left. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but my question is, how can it take almost an hour to put some already cooked meat, in a (most likely) already prepared/cooked Yorkshire pudding and put that on a plate of already cooked potatoes the pub was serving a carvery! The nice lady at the bar was sympathetic and waved the cost for the coffee and coke we’d had. Some sort of service recovery there at least? We definitely will not be returning or recommending.
