"I'm only reviewing the food since I didn't stay overnight, but this is truly a wonderful place to visit. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The menu offers something unique, and everything is so fresh. The food is exceptional! We especially loved the Cullen Skink and Stornoway Stack. The wine and beer were great too. I really wish this could be my local spot. I will definitely return to Killin just to dine and drink here. We've tried every other restaurant in Killin, and the Courie stands out as the best in every regard. They also warmly welcomed our well-behaved dogs, providing treats and water for them. I can't recommend this establishment and the family that runs it highly enough. Rooms: 5, Service: 5, Location: 5."

"meal was lovely, starter of Stornoway black pudding, poached eggs hollandaise sauce was amazing. only let down was when we ordered bread butter for two, only 2 x small halves of bread a pot of butter easy delivered!! we returned it, then when we got the bill it came with only 2 mints- there was four of us? really, not a big deal on the grand scheme of things but you let the side down there unfortunately. the little things mean a lot ????however I would recommend you give this place a try, food is lovely ????"

"Located right by the waterfall, this restaurant offers stunning views from its outdoor seating area. We had drinks in the charming bar one afternoon and a meal in the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was good, although they seemed to be quite busy. Despite that, we had a pleasant evening overall."

"After a long, wet and freezing walk round Loch Tay we were welcomed into The Courie Inn with a smile. It was so cozy, a lovely atmosphere and very cute inside! The Vegan Menu was the best I have seen in a long time- loads of options. We couldn’t decide between all the deliciousness so we ordered a few things to share. The kids loved the Vegan Macaroni, Chips and Garlic Bread. My husband and I got the Bolognese, Curry and some sides. The food was absolutely delicious and we had a lovely chat with the lady serving us about Vegan food. The kids coloured in their Menu’s while my hubby and I enjoyed a drink and the atmosphere. Then we just had to all tuck into the Vegan Brownie and ice cream. We will be back and will be recommending to friends. Would leave 5stars if we could!!!"

"We live in Argyll and have been to Killin many times but today was first visit to Capercaillie. Quite a wait for take away sandwiches but they were obviously made fresh and the wait was worth it. There was more ham than bread lovely creamy coleslaw and fresh salad and crisps, all served in a clever food safe box. Well worth the visit with helpful friendly staff . Thank you! Service: 5"
