Great Thai place in the Stockbridge/New Town area. The food is excellent and filling. The restaurant is located in a basement and the atmosphere is therefore very lovely and cosy. Very friendly staff too.

Oh what a joy. My obsession with Thai food has just become more extreme since trying Siam restaurant under the new ownership this week. The food is extremely flavourful, fresh, authentic and beautifully presented. Pure delight for your taste-buds.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Edinburgh! Tucked away at corner of Howe Street, Siam restaurant may be unnoticed and understated by many locals and tourists. Having tasted Thai dishes in Thailand and other Asian countries such as Singapore and Hong Kong, this is probably the best, if not the best, I have tasted so far. I had the pad Thai and the green curry and the spices are well mixed to bring out the authentic Thai flavour. Will definitely revisit.

This restaurant has recently undergone new ownership, renovations and a complete overhaul. The new owners, Chris from London and Pui from Bangkok, have put a great deal of passion into the establishment. The cuisine is the finest Thai cuisine I have experienced in Edinburgh. The seafood is sourced daily from Leith and the Thai ingredients are imported weekly from Thailand, which truly enhances the dining experience.
