"We booked a KGB Deal at the Kimberley Hotel (the room was fantastic by the way and decided to give the Bistro a try as we didn't arrived at the hotel until late afternoon and the deal came with a free bottle of wine if we ate there. We booked for 19.30 and arrived on time. We ordered a glass of beer/lager each while we were chosing, it took over 20mins to arrive. The bottle of wine we wanted was no longer in stock but were offered what was left in an opened bottle (thanks, but no thanks! . The starters finally arrived and were really good. For mains, I ordered fish and chips, expecting something special the batter was pale and unappetizing, the chips looked crisp but oozed clear fat when you touched them with a knife. My husband said the same about his chips and also left them on his plate. We asked for the sweet menu, twice. We didn't bother with coffee, it was then 22.00. Two and a half hours! We didn't have time for a walk into Harrogate as we'd planned. The staff were nice enough but seemed to lack training and leadership."

had a cursor for quid..it was ok.restaurant a little dark and uncomfortable in my opinion.staff pleasant enough and service pretty good.

lovely American style franchise, when we asked for an early drink the bar didnt open in hotel till 5 so they directed us to the adjoining restaurant. food was lovely.

We so enjoyed the selection of dishes, the quality of the wine, and the outside seating was just lovely. We went back a second night and were just as pleased. We would definitely eat there again!

we did not find the dinner-for-zwo-with-wine available when we arrived. our meal was of reasonable quality but to praise that are adapted or improved by others in the center of harrogate, the better ambiente and wider menus.

Restaurant cancelled our booking with a couple of days notice saying that they were fully booked but hadn’t bothered updating their availability with Open Table! Disgusting example of customer service. Don’t think we will be going there nor will everybody we will be sharing our experience with.

A nice restaurant with friendly staff but were brought the wrong starter three times and had to ask after forty five minutes when the waitress presumed we were asking after main course,very slow service another half an hour for mains;wanted to give a good review but the service was poor and the food was average.

I had the stuffed pfefferstarter that was really delicious. my man had the goat cheese starter that was absolutely delicious. we had both the confit duck with the kartoffels and roasted vegetables. it was nothing wrong with cooking, but it was all a little too fat for us. service was very good. the waiters were very helpful.

I recently had a meal in the hotel restaurant and was genuinely pleased with the experience. The staff greeted me with a smile (not always common in hotel restaurants in my experience! and the service was attentive without being fussy. There also seemed to be a nice relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. I had panko prawns to start, and sirloin steak for my main. The latter was particularly good. One of my better hotel meal experiences.
