"I took 3 children aged 12 to this restaurant for lunch on New Years Eve. The restaurant and kitchen looked clean and inviting. The restaurant was quiet, probably due to the time of year and they had only recently opened. We were the only people in the restaurant The staff were really sweet and accomodating despite the fact that they were only 30 minutes from closing. We ordered calamari/bread and olives to share for the starter. I was expecting the slightly rubbery frozen calamari that is the fare of many small restaurants in the UK but was blown away by how fresh and delicious it was. I didn't get much as the children ate most of it and I wish I had ordered more. Unsuprisingly, all children ordered pizza for the main. The chef came to the table and asked if they would like to make their own pizza (not offered as an option usually but the place was quiet). The children went into the open kitchen and prepared the dough and fillings they loved the experience and the pizza was delicious. I ordered ragu pasta, which arrived in a smallish bowl. The pasta was al dente, the ragu sauce was slow cooked strips of beef rather than mince. The sauce was rich and prepared with care lush. I could only eat half the bowl as it was so filling. The wine list is good with reasonably priced glass options. We did not have desert as everyone was too full after the meal. This restaurant offers a little piece of Italy in Teddington. I don't expect that it will be quiet for much longer. I am sure in the near future it would be wise to book to avoid disappointment. I would highly recommend this restaurant."

sweet pork curry amazing. the experience was corrupted by the ambiente. in a day cold evening we sat next to a door in the rather cool part of the restaurant. the heat from the kitchen was the building condensation in the middle part of a room staff had to wipe it constantly to avoid slipping. delicious food served on cold plates; hot plates but reis curry served after well 5 min of then plates were cold! waited almost 7 weeks to enjoy the eating the waiting list. the hype from TV competition and anticipation was destroyed within a few minutes. while I still cache, the boar is amazing, I think I would rather be in thai tho in...read more

this little restaurant is an absolute gem. despite some of the slowest service I know, and the wine list is fantastic average. this restaurant is absolutely extraordinary. the food is prepared by an old Thai lady in the kitchen, which is adorned to so much love in each of the dishes as she did when served for her family. the long a tedious wait for her to eat is completely forgotten when the food arrives and the wee looses it is priority, since the aromen and quality of each of her dishes are a representation of the absolute perfection, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who dares in the twickenham or teddington area, it was the perfect way...read more
