Maryam at the front desk was fantastic and gave a warm welcome. However, I was disappointed with the food and service. They felt rather ordinary considering the prices.

The food is only average, the service leaves much to be desired, and the views are non-existent—just trees and pavement. While it seems like a nice restaurant, it ultimately...

Superb food and superb service. Had a meal with the family (2 adults and kids aged 5-12). Children were well catered for. Extremely attentive service, particularly from Sandro (hopefully spelt correctly). Food was delivered all at the same time. Lovely location, great views and good food! The staff were good and attentive. Food was well presented and of great quality. The main selling point of this restaurant is the location overlooking the Thames and if you manage to get a sunset booking its quite romantic! The decor is fantastic and of its era. A huge selection of wines on offer so there's something for everyone. Clientele ranged from families to small groups of friends to dates, very accommodating atmosphere!

Last Saturday, my friend treated us to a weekend brunch with a stunning view of the Thames and all-you-can-drink Prosecco. The service was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and fun. The food was outstanding, and they truly delivered on the promise of free-flowing Prosecco—I never had a half-empty glass! The staff were incredibly attentive and did everything possible to ensure we had a great time. Carlo and Sergio, in particular, kept us laughing! I highly recommend this place and plan to book another table as soon as I’ve sobered up!

We had an incredible dinner at Skylon from beginning to end. Despite our last-minute reservation, they made sure we had a relaxed atmosphere with stunning views and amazing food that surpassed all our expectations! The food was exquisite (though they were out of oysters, the other starter options were delightful). We ordered the burger, which was perfectly delicious, and the duck, which was exceptional. The portions were generous and beautifully presented. They were aware of our special occasion and surprised us with desserts topped with candles! Most exquisite food in all three courses ! The steak tartare was beautifully marinated and well balanced with a soft and scrumptious soft boiled egg melting into the beef, the beetroot and the spring onion. My companion's scallops was also cooked and sauced in perfect balance. Then the mains of the duck breast was a knockout, skin still crispy and a deep thick juicy tender meat under. The hazelnut ice cream was a delight. The service was charming but a bit on the slow side all the time. The atmosphere in this bright delightful room facing the river was always airy and relaxing. My friend and I visited Skylon for after-dinner drinks on a Saturday evening. Although we didn't have a reservation and the place was quite crowded, the friendly staff at the front of house found us a spot at the bar and mentioned that a couple was about to leave, so we could take their table as soon as it became available. Skylon had a vibrant atmosphere and was bustling with energy. The service was good, although the drinks menu appeared a bit worn. We would have preferred a window seat to enjoy the stunning views of the river, but all of those were reserved. The drinks were on the pricier side, which was expected. I cannot believe we paid almost £1000 for such tasteless food. The food I had was below average. No exaggeration. I took a bite off all my friend's foods and everything was bland. It wasn't value for money. I'd give a 1* but the only reason I've said 2* is because of the friendly staff and nice ambiance. I requested for halal chicken and they didn't even have it on the day. Overall NOT happy so don't waste your money here : The ambiance of this place is just wow and the service of some of the staff member is outstanding however everything was so bland and tasteless.. other than the chocolate bomb, I didn't like the taste of a single thing and would not suggest anyone to waste their money buy...
