We enjoyed some great beer in a cozy, warm bar, especially since we arrived soaked from the rain. It’s also dog-friendly! The food menu looked fantastic, and we definitely plan to return to give it a try. Price per person: £1–10. Atmosphere: 5/5.

I went there for Sunday dinner today, and it was delicious! The portions were generous, and the lamb was particularly enjoyable—there was plenty of it! It was an excellent value for the price. We visited this charming little pub with two friends, and I can only say that we absolutely loved it. It's a cozy, traditional spot with a diverse menu and a specials board. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented by the friendly and attentive staff. We will definitely go back!

I have lived in the area most of my life and didn't know this pub existed. This is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is amazing, service is perfect, the food is home cooked and incredible. And to top it off, it's all incredibly priced too. I would highly recommend you come here if you like good quality, value home cooked food in a nice village pub setting.

Our first visit to the Smisby Arms, had lunch with friends and our two dogs. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with a lovely warm welcome. There is a good choice of dishes on the menu and also several specials too. The food was good and reasonably priced. A great dog friendly pub and will definitely be visiting again.
