"Today was the 2nd time we’d stopped at Harts for breakfast in a week. We had to make sure that our wonderful first time experience wasn’t a fluke . And they didn’t disappoint! Harts is an absolute gem. From the decor, to the staff, food and location it’s a real treat. My wife had the Avocado Benedict and I had the English breakfast (as I had the first time). Both were beautifully presented, fresh ingredients and amazing to eat. Harts is truly an asset to the wonderful village of Boston Spa. It’s an absolute MUST try! We can’t wait to go back again."

"First visit, while visiting the area, specifically to see a football match. Had pre-booked a table and was allocated a booth with our own screen, giving an uninterrupted view of the game. We didn't eat so can't comment on the food although the menu looked tempting. The beer was good though. Friendly staff and good atmosphere made for an enjoyable visit. Pity our team lost the football game."

"How many times would I drive past Piccolino's in Collingham and say to my wife, we should try that place it looks nice? Countless times over a 25 year period...and in the end it was someone else who made the arrangements. We attended with the car club to which we belong, but this review is our personal impression. The first thing to remark upon is the atmosphere. Loud, entusiastic noises from everywhere in a full estaurant...the place really buzzes. The service was attentive, and the food (on a reduced menu, because we were a party of 30+ and wanted to preselect) was very good. My aubergine starter was excellent, and it was nice to have it cooked like this, my cooking of aubergine for a starter is a little heavier that this, thie was wonderfully light. The bruscetta with tomatoes which my wife had was fairly standard, nothing to wroite home about. For mains we had the seafiood kebabs which were superb. The puddings were excellent too (creme caramel and ice cream). I'd love to go back, just as a couple, and explore the wider menu. But this was a great appetiser for what the restairant can do. Coping with a large group like ours without even batting an eyelid augurs well for a return."

"Charming countryside pub with a genuine atmosphere. The accommodations include a spacious room located in the historic bottle store, featuring two levels: a sitting area and bathroom on the lower level, with a large bedroom upstairs. This layout may pose a challenge for elderly guests, as there’s only one window facing the road. As for the food and drinks, the full English breakfast is fantastic, and the staff go out of their way to accommodate requests. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 4, the service a 5, and the location a 4."

"beautifully designed and presented in this picturesque market town in yorkshire. easy to find, directly on the main street, this place offers brunch, lunch and evening dining options. I have experienced all three, but it is in the evening when this place really shows its magie as one of the best meat-free farms in the northern englands. the menu is extensive and unique, a real credit to the wonderful cook that runs the show. when someone can remember the wonderful and fabulous hansas in leeds, I think this place is even better. the vegan choice is excellent, and most dishes can actually be served as vegan. eating is simply sensational, with great love made to detail and served with enthusiasm. even if they see that Indians eat here, they know they are at a good place. we had served the methi malai kofta with rice and a huge masala dosa filled with rice, lenses, spiced kartoffels and flower cabbage. both sensational. these were washed with large 600ml bottle kingfisher and cobra bier. do not make them in the regular desserts, but as a one-off it was very difficult to serve the chocolate pistachio cake with vegan vanilla ice cream. an incredible restaurant."
