Squire's Cafe - Speisekarte

I thought I would try somewhere new, so ventured over 2 this Squire's outlet. Nice venue, good quality food friendly staff. I even filled in one of the customer comment forms, as I thought the service was very good. Well worth a visit.

A comfortable and attractive cafe. Service friendly and effective. Quiche mains lacked the something extra but other mains more attractive. Desserts, coffee etc excellent. Fair pricing. Easy parking. Regular customer and will remain so.

I and Amber (my poodle) love coming here to have breakfast. It is very good value. Amber always gets excited when she knows she is going there. We sit outside. The staff are always very friendly and Amber loves it when they talk to her.... Speisekarte ansehen

We have been coming here for over 30 years. Lunch today was disappointing. Only one meat, gammon for the roast. That was tough and fatty. Vegetables were nearly raw.. My ham egg and chips had tough fatty gammon, not ham, which was difficult to chew....

My elderly neighbour and I came in today for a shop/tea/scone. Cassie was the lady who served us and was very welcoming and friendly. She even was giving us recommendations for where to buy something we couldn’t find in store. She is a credit to your team

What a lovely little cafe. Excellent cream tea, superb customer service from all staff but particular mention to Karen who went out of her way to ensure our tea was enjoyable, it arrived on time, was delicious and Karen was courteous, respectful and helpful throughout,... Speisekarte ansehen

Let’s start on a high Toast was good Greeted by server to be told that there were no beans or hash browns available for breakfast Ordered xtra egg to moisten breakfast but that was a mistake How it is possible to drain all the moisture from sausages, bacon, black pudding and poached eggs is quite an accomplishment Such a shame as it was meant to be a good start for my wife’s 60th birthday If you go ensure you have plenary of water

We have just had brunch here and are all so very cold despite sitting an eating in coats. We asked to be moved to a possibly warmer location and were treated very rudely (despite booking over 3 weeks ago) and were told that they could not ,or rather, would not do so. Hot drinks and brunch were ordered within 30minutes of us sitting down and arrived 30-40minutes later. We then sat for another 90minutes and had no opportunity to order another tea/coffee and to add insult to injury, the empty plates sat there this entire time!! This is our last visit here as it has been getting progressively worse and this was the last straw.

This cafe used to be a favorite spot for me and my son to enjoy an afternoon drink and cake. However, our visit yesterday was quite disappointing. We arrived around 4pm, with the cafe closing at 5pm. It took a while for us to be greeted and even longer for our order to be taken, despite being only a cold drink and a cake. We were seated right by the counter, yet it took 20 minutes for our order to arrive. To make matters worse, someone interrupted us to ask for payment at 5:35, while we were in the middle of a game. The service was terrible, despite the lack of customers. Additionally, one of the older staff members was overheard being rude about a younger colleague. The experience was so un...
