"Having been regulars here for a few years now I knew what to expect or at least I thought I did. Table booked for a Sunday evening to celebrate my wife’s birthday as usual the staff were amazing I can not praise them enough. We was asked for our order for starters as my wife is 8 months pregnant shell fish was of the menu for her so ordered the only thing that she was able to eat only to be told they had none they did there best and cobbled together a meat platter which again she really isn’t supposed to eat but not as potentially harmful as the shell fish. Starter was ok main was ok nothing amazing and then we had the same problem with desert again they had run out of the only thing she could eat and the only thing I liked on the menu was also sold out. The restaurant wasn’t even busy I wouldn’t of liked to of eaten on a busy day as I can see they you would of had no choice very disappointed"

Meal was lovely, well cooked and presented. Staff really attentive as well. Drinks are expensive in relative terms to what else is in the area but good and location great.

he had only an unpromptu stay in this little gem of a place. great location, rooms immaculate and beautifully decorated. the personal was very good and so welcoming. I was a joy! so would be highly recommended. in any case back!

The view from the terrace over the estuary is superb. We sat there on a sunny day and enjoyed a glass of bubbles with some nice food. Friendly service. Can see the lovely sheltered swimming pool (for hotel guests) from there too so you feel in the holiday spirit.

we had lunch today, it was fabulous, our waiter connor and harry were brilliantly very attentive, without being intrusive. the eating was extraordinary, I recommend that the booze, but everything was so good, the wine list was on every taste and we had a nice harbour with our cheese, definitiw a visit worth
