"Visited today Feb) on a pre booked reservation. Perfect window table was already reserved even though we arrived early we were invited to take our seat. (Just a side note the online table booking system was so easy to use) The Lush afternoon tea...includes prosecco,tea or coffee and your choice of filling for the sandwich. Expected a glass of prosecco but got a mini bottle (this may have been a mistake so forgive me if you dont get the same :D) The sandwiches were fresh and lovely, the scones were slightly warm and delicious served with clotted cream and jam..and a lovely little selection of mini cakes. Not advertised on the menu for this was the sausage roll and piece of quiche that also included. Friendly service without being over the top..lovely view over the high street and river (pull back the net curtain for optimal view) Arthur was great..not too sure of the waitress name but she was equally as good. recommend..lovely for a treat but the hot food we saw coming out looked super..will be back for sure"

I came to Stokes today for lunch. The restaurant was super busy but Rebecca gave exceptional service despite taking care of everyone’s tables. She was lovely and nothing to much of an ask. The food was lovely, and would definitely come back again.

Visited regularly with my mum for years and always have a good meal there with friendly staff. I was disappointed to find on my most recent visit that they have changed things a little and added netted curtains upstairs, which detracts from the BRIDGE view!!!????...Get rid

I enjoyed a beautiful cappuccino and sausage roll while enjoying a view of the lively lincoln high street below. the cappuccino was perfectly prepared and the sausage roll had a fine crack on it. my server was jackie and she was very friendly and helpful....I would definitely come back here!

Visited Lincoln for the first time and had the perfect afternoon in stokes high bridge cafe watching the busy high street pass by. Enjoyed a well brewed coffee served by a really friendly Jacqueline who explained some of high bridge’s history and made us feel...really welcomed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to eat or just drink in the city.

we visited on a beautiful early day after the walk around the sights of lincoln. cafe serves standard cafe food, e.g. tosties wraps etc. plus also larger meal times. eating in order and would have given higher scores if the staff had more attention. they had to order coffee and put it for the bill. instead of putting into the effort, would have appreciated some attention from them, especially because place was quiet to the time.

we made a shopping place and decided to go a bite to eat somewhere and decided to go for stokes, because we were not long there. we had both salmon sandwiches that were devine! my partner had the milkshake (also...delicious) and I had the Italian kirschseide. We were particularly impressed by the service that his name was arthur, and he was particularly attentive and made our experience very pleasant. he ensured that we know when our drinks and eating would come, in addition to his friendly way and we made a point to praise him to his manager when we left. highly recommended!

we were in lincoln sightseeing and it was about when we got hungry, but got a table up pretty fast. Unfortunately, they had stopped serving hot food so that our order had to be changed to a sandwich! but when it arrived, it was...big enough to feed us both and not sure that we needed the horses that came with him (but they were delicious we had a pot tee for two that was also delicious and our waiter was very friendly and chatting. we had a table at the window with a view of the bridge and there was a crutchy before the busking that was good to hear. I think the dirty curtains on the window are a bit wrong, though, as they had to press them on a side to see what was going on. we will come ba...
