We went for Sunday brunch and had a very good impression. A wide selection of good quality food. We enjoyed it so much that we'll be back with the family.

Das Brunchangebot war reichhaltig und sehr lecker, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war absolut in Ordnung. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Alles war perfekt. Gerne wieder!

Leckere Kuchen, drinnen schön und gemütlich, wenn das Wetter schlecht ist, und draußen auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den See bei gutem Wetter sogar noch schöner. Das Essen ist köstlich. Guter Service. Einfach online reservieren. Wir kommen wieder!

Ein schönes Restaurant direkt am Hengsteysee. Besonders im Sommer auf der riesigen Terrasse mit Blick auf den See und die Wälder von Hengstey zu empfehlen. Gemütlicher Ort für Kaffee und Kuchen oder leckeres Essen oder einfach ein Bier genießen. Sehr schön, ich bin immer gerne dort.

Location, food and drinks are great and the price is right. Unfortunately, the staff is not always too friendly and very slow. I would also think it would be better if there were service staff in the lower area to serve the tables, as it would be less annoying if you had to wait because you wouldn't have to wait in line forever. Im Grunde ein großartiges Restaurant! Die Gerichte sind seit 20 Jahren schmackhaft. ABER: Das zusätzliche Personal an Verkaufstagen ist eine Überraschung! Heute ist Sonntag (21.07.13) und die weibliche Bedienung (Herstellerin, NICHT Chefin) war eine Katastrophe! Der männliche Kollege, der zur gleichen Zeit bereits dreimal nach den Tischen hinten gefragt hat, konnte trotz mehrerer Handzeichen und Rufe von den Gästen innerhalb von 15(!!!) Minuten an 6 Tischen nicht 3 Bestellungen aufnehmen. BÜRO FÜR OFFIZIELLE SEKTION 5

We had breakfast in the beach house and have never had such a bad breakfast....the cutlery was always dirty, i.e. there were still bits of food stuck to it, the sausage was neatly arranged on the plate, but tasted as if it had been there for a long time, so it wasn 't fresh, yes and the scrambled eggs.....there were enough in the bowl but they were very dry and crumbly.....the fried eggs were slapped on the tray, dry, the egg yolk hard....the vegetables were really the last, watery and mushy.....the buffet wasn 't even prepared again....i.e. cleaned again, apart from normal rolls, nothing was refilled.....and every little thing costs extra....so we were so disappointed.....would have gladly...

It's a shame there's no chance to leave another review... We were there for breakfast this morning and it was really great. The service, a super cheerful person, welcomed us... unfortunately, I don't know his name. We were shown to our table and felt welcome. The service team, which is very young but extremely friendly and competent, actually deserves more than 5 stars. When we asked if it was possible to get a very small portion, we were offered several options. The breakfast was plentiful and good value for money. Of course, they could offer higher-quality products, which would certainly be reflected in the price. And whether everyone sees it that way is still questionable... We really enj...
