The food was delicious and the service was very attentive and polite. It can get very crowded, hence the 4 stars, but we will definitely be back .

The pancakes were delicious with an excellent variety of flavors. The staff was kind and friendly, providing great service. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with great coffee at a reasonable price.

I’m fairly sure looking at the reviews I was in the wrong place. This place was a cold, greasy spoon, with poorly cooked food and a weird atmosphere. The only redeeming feature was that the staff were very good about adjusting the bill having found out we didn’t like the food. Speisekarte ansehen

Exceptional! Whay a lovely place, very warm and friendly staff, warm and inviting surroundings and excellent food .. oh and dog friendly to boot! Full English was the best I've had in many years and as a regular traveller that is praise indeed! My wife opted for a smoked Salmon bagel which she said was also excellent. Brilliant place, definitely worth a visit.

Managed to squeeze a walk in of 8 of us for breakfast and the food was lovely. Giving mostly all of us all had full English breakfasts the food came out pretty quick and everyone really enjoyed what they got. Flat white was one of the best in the area! Super dog friendly too which is always a main thing for us. Will definitely be back to try the pancakes next time.

As residents of Windermere, we decided to give the pizza night a try at this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the homemade pizzas, made with fresh and delicious ingredients. The staff were also very friendly. The prices were reasonable, and we will definitely be coming back for more delicious pizzas in the future. This was our first visit to this café and it was a somewhat average experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, my lemon drizzle cake was a bit dry and my wife's toasted teacake arrived late because we overheard that the kitchen had forgotten about it. It was also strange that they did not have skimmed milk available, as it is commonly found in most cafes nowadays. Hopefully, our experience will be better if we decide to come back again.

Came here for lunch while in the area after seeing the high ranking and positive reviews. The waiter who seated us and took our order was polite, but very loud and a little brusque. We ordered cold drinks and hot food. We asked for panini with the soup as a deal , to which we were told by the waiter that if we want this deal, we have to ask for the soup first ! . Drinks were brought still in cans with glasses might have been nicer to pour it and offer some ice. Food came quickly and was all hot and very tasty, everything individually was delicious even the salad dressing was lovely. We were told we had to get our own cutlery and condiments/napkins from across the cafe a little unusual to do...

Judging by the replies to customer's reviews, my point about the manager being defensive, he proves himself. His responses come across very arrogant and rude. The lady who served us was lovely however and accomodating. I didn't think the pancakes were the best but ok, good breakfast otherwise. Buckwheat flour would make their pancakes more tasteful, just an idea. Also a plant based sugar like Stevia or erythitol would be a good alternative instead of syrup or white sugar, for sugar restricted diets. Staff need to be more customer orientated and not so defensive when asked questions or expressing concerns, showing some understanding and care. Also, food took a while and we noticed the couple...
