Swan And Cygnet - Speisekarte

we have quilted on a Sunday and although it was busy, the service was good. the staff is friendly and the choice is good. eating was nice round, but not amazing. scotch eggs are the best I have eaten and good choice of drinks.

Just had Sunday roast (late afternoon) at the swan cygnet in Swanland with family it was excellent! The quantity and quality of the food served was superb the meat was beautifully cooked (not overdone) and the veggies were plentiful! The staff...were friendly and efficient.

after visiting the village to lunch. the food and beer was excellent. beautiful and clean I had a tandoori chickenburger and my man had steak cake. our puddings were sticky toffee pudding and bromley apples and Bramble...crumble that were not a second. we really enjoyed our meals. We have been before and it has always been quite nice but the last 2 visits have not been good at all. Lamb was awful. Just really fatty and combined with blunt knives makes it inedible. Most of food was cold on arrival. 'Home made...Yorkshire' are obviously frozen. Condiments aren't offered they have to asked for and by the time they arrive its too late. Unfortunately will not be going back.

Family reunion after 12 months apart ! The staff were very accommodating , especially as we had 2 small children with the party . Food was excellent for everyone, a special request for one of the children was accommodated willingly . Love the fact they...have fruit shoots for kids !!! We were kept waiting quite a while for our food , but we had plenty to talk about ! Well done Swan and Cygnet !

we took a drink during our walk. the staff was excellent in the service they provided. friendly and helpful. was extremely apprehended, but on the way the person is treated by the renter. lack of respect, she cried on and no man what. so ever. not very nice to see at all as a customer. some of these employees are only young men/women and do not deserve to be treated like this. it was not at the end of staying for eating as it was not impressed. This is my new local and before today i had only been in for drinks. Went with other half and her parents on recommendations of others, so glad we did, it was fantastic. The pub itself is large and spacious with plenty of tables, a...good choice of drinks and a sizeable menu with a specials board. 3 of us plumped for the fish and chips and the other the mushroom risotto. All 4 of us absolutely loved it and the fish was the biggest I have ever eaten, the portion was massive. Fluffy haddock, crispy batter and triple cooked chips, washed down by a pint of Cumberland...whats not to like ? The staff are friendly and helpful and the place is spotless. Already looking forward to my next visit

Booked a table last week for my sons birthday, can’t even begin to explain my disgust. The moment we stepped on the premises, the atmosphere was very unwelcoming. The manager was very intimidating. When we did manage to finally order our food it took forever...to arrive. We also had a vegan at the party in which there was nothing for her to have even though on the website, it said they catered for vegans. When asking for vegan options, the manager seemed annoyed and unwilling to help. He said he could ‘throw her something together’ and we were shocked when the meal arrived. It turned out to be a bread roll and a handful of chips. They didn’t even offer any condiments! INCLUDING KETCHUP which...

If you’ve got kids swan and cygnet is not the place to go. Me my sister in law, mother in law, my son (age 1), daughter and niece (both age 3) booked a table at 4:45 so bare in mind a respectable family hour for...a “family pub” Ten minutes after sat down a lady came and shushed my son I didn’t think anything of it I thought she was just joking and communicating with him as he was making noises as a one year old does. Very happy and chatty noises. Ten minutes goes by and another young girl this time came over and said could you ask the children to be quiet please..
