Excellent breakfast food was so tasty and fresh. Service was excellent and staff very friendly. A little pricey but it is in the heart of the city. Would definitely recommend a visit.

I recently had one of the best breakfasts ever at this restaurant! The pancakes were absolutely perfect and the service was excellent. I have no complaints at all about this lovely small business.

If you are a fan of pancakes, this restaurant is the perfect place for you. The peach and brown sugar pancakes are absolutely delicious, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. Make sure to book in advance to secure a table!

Very nice cafe, great range of GF options but £8 for 1 very small cheese and ham toastie was a lot!! Service time was good. Order taken within 5 minutes of being seated and food was delivered within 30 minutes on a Saturday morning. Food and service was great but too expensive for what was delivered. I would say either increase the portion or lower the price

We didn’t have reservations but we were lucky to get a seat. The food was truly fantastic. All ingredients were fresh and prepared perfectly. I had the avocado toast with poached eggs and salmon. Best breakfast of our trip. Even though it was extremely busy, the service was excellent and staff very friendly. If you can get in, go! You will start your day off great. Speisekarte ansehen

Although, Tani Modi could improve their cappuccino as I think the foam is too light, this is the place to go if you like pancakes! At Tani Modi, they know their stuff. The filling is generous on the top of the pancakes and even between the layers of pancakes! Pancakes are light, flufy and served with seasonal fruits. They are so delicious! You can add their peanut butter with whisky sauce which is to die for.

Although the restaurant was not very busy (there were more staff members than customers most of the time), the service was extremely slow. It took 15 minutes for the coffee to arrive, and a second cup that was ordered never showed up. The staff had to check if the orange juice was fresh, and the breakfast came with several missing components. Two out of the four orders were wrong when they were brought to the table. The food was just average and nothing extraordinary.

Fantastic experience. Delicious, rich coffee and nice tea. Great homemade sourdough with a full flavour and nice crust. Very nice black pudding and haggis as part of the Scotsman breakfast. We had an allergy concern at the table with onion/garlic and they handled it without a worry. We actually noticed they had prepped the avocado salmon toast with their usual avocado mash, likely realising last minute it had garlic mixed in. Without even alerting us, they prepped one anew and set it aside as if it never happened. Very professional, caring, delicious food, probably the best breakfast/brunch we've had visiting the UK.
