great! had a really delicious homemade suppe and tee with free refilling. the owner could not have invited in. not surprised that it won best cafe in Scotland

not exactly a friendly and welcoming place, the best place for a caffe when they have the people with the right setting. with the lack of customers at the place it is quite obvious that people choose with their feet.

in this gem of a restaurant. absolutely lovely. eat first class. clean. stewart (owners) felt most welcome to us. the prices are excellent, with good portions. cakes are great. would be highly recommended. next time we're in largs, we know exactly where.

Thought we would try here for some food. I had the fish and chips. The batter a bit greasy but the fish inside was nice. Chips were good also. Nice salad. great food and friendly service. it is not only about bagels, this coffee shop sells suppening and paninis and a whole series of other delicious foods. a wonderful depay mouthwater homemade cakes and pills will entice their sweet tooth! a firm favorite with me and my family is the service quickly friendly and effiecent. highly recommended.

the first time in the george today. had lunch with my wife, first class service and eating. would recommend it definately and will certainly be back. back in the george today with my wife to lunch, more ugly than last week, but same great service. my man and my elders have traveled from the coast of englands for years to stay in wemyss bay and always visit a point largs a few times during our stay and treat us to the breakfast, lunch or coffee and cake in the bagel. the last time we visited, was with our week old daughter and the staff made me feel very easy to quiet her there over the breakfast. when we left, we said we would see them again next year, but unfortunately this was not too guilt after a difficult months/years for all we managed to come back for some days and were thrilled to see that the bagel basket was still in business with some familiar faces behind the counter. as soon as we have entered tabs, the five of us plus ou...
