I've dropped in twice for a swift pint. I love it here. I especially love the cricket ball door handles.

Food and service were both amazing. A really relaxed atmosphere in a gorgeous country pub. Would definitely return.

We had a pleasant lunch for three people at The Bat and Ball in Cuddesdon. Two of us enjoyed the delicious Bat burgers. The pub was relatively quiet, which gave us the opportunity to admire the cricketing memorabilia. However, the sticky toffee pudding was not my personal favorite. Speisekarte ansehen

We were a bit disappointed that most of their menu consists of burgers (we get enough burgers in America). But my husband's burger was tall scrumptious. He says it was top rate. I got the vegetarian lasagne. Large plate of food all wonderful. Then we had the full English breakfast in the morning. Superb.

The restaurant experience was extremely disappointing. The rooms were not as advertised on the website, and we decided to leave without staying. Despite requesting a refund, we were unable to receive it at the time. We will be following up with the manager in hopes of getting an explanation in the coming weeks.

This village pub has great potential but could benefit from improved management. The operating hours don't always align with what is advertised on their social media pages. It would be beneficial for the pub to have a stronger online presence and creative ownership. Ideas such as hosting music nights, quiz nights, or curry nights could attract more customers. We made a reservation at the Bat and Ball for lunch on Bank Holiday Monday, anticipating a special dining experience. However, we were quite disappointed with our visit. The person who greeted us at the bar was not very welcoming, and it felt like we were inconveniencing the mostly empty pub by arriving. The service improved once we were seated, with friendly but slow service. The food was just okay, nothing particularly remarkable. Overall, it didn't live up to our expectations and was not worth the trip from London.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Researched the pub for a one night stay and see it advertised on a number of websites it was dog friendly. However on arriving was told I was wrong and the owner suggested I leave my dog in the car park in the car overnight. I have never been dealt with in such a disgusting and unprofessional manner. No empathy at the 3 hour drive we’d just done was told that it wasn’t important that my companion was disabled. I’m complete denial that it’s advertised as dog friendly photos attached.

My wife and I spent one night at this hotel and I am relieved it was only for one night. The website advertised a double room with a cricket theme, but the reality was disappointing. The room was barely big enough for a single bed, let alone a double. We were cramped into the tiniest room imaginable. The cricket theme was limited to a picture above the bed. The bathroom was extremely small, with a sink that resembled a closet toilet sink. There was no space to properly wash in the shower, and using the toilet was uncomfortable. The room was hot and stuffy, with no AC or fan to provide relief. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was a poor experience and not worth the money! Speisekarte ansehen
