"The service by the young staff was great! They really made an effort to make you feel welcome. We had steak, asked for it well done but it was pink and bleeding so asked for it to be cooked a little more and it came out exactly the same and even after the 2nd time of asking it wasn’t any different so i had to leave it but still got charged full price even though the chef could not do a well done steak after 3 attempts. Serving staff were great though"

Four of us decided to try the Bateman Arms after hearing great things about the food. We all unanimously agreed that the food was excellent and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Portions are generous, food is hot. Good menu selection and good specials board. Staff are polite and efficient. There is an automatic 10% service charge added to the bill, but they tell you. It is well worth it. Speisekarte ansehen

What a wonderful pub with a lovely atmosphere! The service was friendly and the food was amazing. I will definitely return and recommend to others. The communication from booking to the end was great. It is also good value for money. Thank you.

Brilliant pub, never had a bad meal here. Staff are so friendly and attentive. And the best thing is they are super dog friendly so your 4 legged friend is always welcome. Love the different nights they have on offer and the new menu items are brilliant
