Service was really good. Good was average to poor.... 3 scallops for over £10... poor chips with gammon, steak average, terrible salad and a grainy creme brûlée... Shame. Far better choices locally

The ambiance was lovely, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding... however, it was uncomfortably cold. I was hoping for a warm fireplace, but unfortunately all we got was a chill in the air.

first they did not have our reservation (even if we have email to confirm/prove it), but finally said they could fit us. then we were told that they had no burger or steak. we were going straight. very disappointed.
