The Big Fish - Speisekarte

Order or collect from here often. Always friendly people and good food at good prices. Kebabs are surprisingly nice, better than I was expecting.

Ordered through Just Eat. The food took 2 hours to arrive, and was cold and tasteless when it did. 3 times the expected delivery time moved on. I will be avoiding the Big Fish in future.

It took 1hr 45 mins to arrive I could have walked to the shop, peeled the potato’s myself, cooked the food and walked home in that time. Batter wasn’t cooked through on the fish... not impressed. Will not use again. Speisekarte ansehen

Ordered on Uber eats with an estimated delivery time of 30 mins. 2 hours later and I’m still waiting and my kids are starving. If I had known how long they would take I would have chosen a different takeaway. Will never use again. Ridiculous !

the food is good and fresh, but I especially go for her children kebabs in pitta or naan, cooked to order, chicken charges, which is really nicely seasoned, full of taste and juicy, I eat dona meat but I will eat it only here,never fat, fresh salat n really creamy coleslaw,

Order delivery waited nearly 2 hours for delivery.....6 min drive from us. Ordered half chicken...I got 2 dried 1/4 breast...no thigh.... the bag with the chicken was covered in a sour bbq sauce....the birds outside enjoyed the dry chicken. Scampi looked old inside over fried from frozen. Chips also seen better days £8.00 delivery charge plus .50pd “service” charge....??? All and all tasteless old warmed up food and a waste of nearly £30.00 Delivery because of lockdown... Speisekarte ansehen

After waiting for 90 minutes for my fish and chips order, I called the restaurant and was informed that they were busy and my order would arrive when it arrived. When the delivery finally arrived, the driver refused to climb the 18 steps to my door because he was busy. I called the restaurant to express my frustration, only to be insulted by the manager and told that he was going to confront me in person. I am still waiting for him to show up, and he better come prepared.

After a previous poor experience, my husband ordered from here in error. We arrived five mins late to collect the order the fish, sausage, spring roll had been in the heater for some time but yet chips needed to be cooked to order. At this point, I’d been in the car for three hours. We pre ordered (admittedly from the wrong chippi should have been Berryfields) because we wanted to walk in, grab the food and go home…. We didn’t want to wait while you cooked it. Why wasn’t the order ready? Should have been simple?

We decided to give Big Fish another try after boycotting them for a few months. Unfortunately, after last night's meal, we won't be ordering from them again. The fish, which is usually delicious, was overcooked and covered in thick, stodgy batter that hid a small amount of haddock. My husband's mixed kebab was also disappointing, lacking cheese that we had paid extra for. With a delivery charge of £4, the meal wasn't cheap, especially considering the poor quality.
