Lovely food, helpful staff and open for a good amount of hours. Sometimes a little cool in the conservatory but food always piping hot.

A great buffet meal for 30 today served with professionalism and a smile. Excellent service and food. Great atmosphere and choice of drinks

I had an excellent meal at this restaurant. The steak was cooked perfectly, and it came with chips, mushrooms, onion rings, and all the trimmings. My only complaint was that there was too much food!

We brought four of our friends for a meal here and it was so good. Thank you for super food, well cooked and all dishes were served nice and hot. My husbands steak was the best he had eaten, cooked to perfection.

During our visit to Kings Lynn, our long-time friends recommended this restaurant to us. My friend ordered the Veggie special, expecting a burger with chips, halloumi, onions, and salad. However, only the burger and chips were served. My wife ordered a Caesar salad, which turned out to be a soggy and unappetizing dish that seemed to have been prepared hours before. I ordered a medium rare steak but received a medium steak instead. We felt sorry for the waitress who had to listen to our disappointment with the food that was served.

NEW As a reasonably regular visitor for lunch we were very disappointed today by the service or rather the lack of service.We waited nearly 40 minutes for our lunch today, in a not very busy pub bar. When we queried the delay we were told it it was due to a rush of people arriving and that meals were prepared in order. No apology for the delay at all. For the record only one couple had arrived after us and they had not only received their meals but had finished and were preparing to leave before we received our orders. Needless to say we will not be visiting again.

Sunday lunch at this friendly village pub known locally as, The Mucky Duck, was lovely. The service was provided by several young girls who worked very hard to make their customers feel welcome and provided good service . The food was hot and beautifully presented. My only criticism is that there was no choice of meat for Sunday lunch. However, the roast beef was well cooked and the trimmings were imaginative stuffing ball, pig in blanket and Yorkshire pudding! The pub is family friendly and has a large beer garden so is dog friendly too. I would happily eat here again.

We have dined at this restaurant several times for dinner and have generally found it to be satisfactory. However, our most recent meal was disappointing. My son, who is a chef, remarked that it seemed like there was an inexperienced chef in the kitchen. The Cumberland sausage I ordered was tough, the onions were undercooked, and the mashed potatoes were incredibly dry. The sea bass was breaded and overcooked, which is not the proper way to prepare it. The "deep fried seaweed" turned out to be deep fried rocket, and there was not enough sauce. When we were asked at the register if everything was alright, my wife mentioned that some of the dishes were not very good, but there was no response...

I visited the Swann with four friends for a Christmas lunch. We had preordered our meals from their Christmas menu.. Three of us arrived together and we were told we would find our table in the conservatory as it had our name on it. She said she would come and take our drinks order. We sat there until our other two friends arrived and then she eventually came to take our order for drinks. Our starters came and my Brie bites were nice and the comments about the fish cake was it was OK. Then the plates were taken away and the mains brought in. Three traditional roasts arrived and we said we had only ordered two as I had ordered a nut roast. The waitress came in with the order they had written...
