"Was really looking forward to eating here after seeing the good reviews however our experience was nothing short of tragic. Went for the nachos as a starter and instead i was presented with a single layer of tortillas that had been nuked in the microwave with flavourless mozzarella cheese and a few bacon strips tossed on the top; no sour cream/ guacamole just a solitary brown looking miniature side dish of jarred salsa. Lift up the first layer of nachos and they’re all completely dry no cheese nothing. After being presented with that I had little hope for the main. Chips that were burnt and a deep brown/orange colour look like they have been refried 27 times. The beef burger had the most unpleasant strange flavour. Again with nuked mozzarella cheese driest concoction ive ever had the misfortune of putting into my mouth. Avoid this place !!!"

"visited this beautiful restaurant today with my man and had a wonderful experience. eating was beautifully fresh, perfectly cooked and really cheap. the service of the owner, lorenzo, was also fabulous that we really felt welcome and he took the time to meet us. the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated and had a beautiful atmosphere, reminded me of a trip to italia I had really look authentic a few years ago. I want to visit again in any case, and I can highly recommend eating here."

"Very little food and obviously been cooked and kept warm for quite some time. Not much choice available (especially for vegetarians) small skillet of very burnt veg to share between 4 people, 1 thin slice of very fatty lamb and 1 overly done roast potato that I couldn’t cut. Don’t be fooled by the giant Yorkshire pudding, this was also hard and very dry. No chicken left (as part of a Sunday carvery)! and was advised they don’t have apple sauce (pork option was belly pork) but no apple sauce. We had booked 2 weeks previously and ate at 1.30, but disappointing that there was no chicken left so early on in the day. Quite clearly lack of food available that was being shared out hence the very small portions. Usually after a Sunday lunch you don’t need anything else to eat for the rest of the day, unfortunately not the case after this. Very disappointing and the young waitressess? clearly lacked any customer service skills or personality. There are far better places to go than here where you will receive good value for money and enough food!"

"Visited here today for the Mother’s Day two course meal and I could not fault it! Absolutely amazing pub for the food, drinks, company and atmosphere from start to finish! Staff couldn’t have been more helpful! The food was outstanding propper homecooked food how it should be and thouroughly enjoyed! Also the choice of Sunday delivery service too! Would highly recommend all round!"

"I waited 35 minutes on top of the hour waiting time I was told for my takeout order. When I got home, I discovered that my main dish was missing and my two starters were cold! It's unfortunate to have to write this review because the food is typically good, but this isn't the first time I've had missing items in my order. Overall, the service was rated a 3, the food a 4, and the atmosphere a 5. The price per person was between £40-£50 for dinner."
