We had a family meal for my father's birthday with a total of 11 people, including three children. The food was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience! I can't wait to go back. It was one of the best Sunday dinners I've had this year! Well done!

I stopped by for lunch and decided to try the fish and chips from the day menu. While there were plenty of chips and peas, the fish left much to be desired. The batter was smooth rather than crispy, and it tasted frozen. I've dined here before and had an acceptable experience, but this visit was disappointing. Price per person: £10–20. My wife and I enjoyed a lovely roast dinner this evening served by excellent and cheery staff. The traditional pub food was very plentiful and the meat and vegetables were of good quality and cooked perfectly and served hot. It's been a while since we've visited the blacksmith's Arms but we will definitely be returning at some point in the future to further sample their menu. Thank you. Parking: Parking is plentiful. I visited this pub with friends yesterday evening and thought it would be a great spot for lunch. Thankfully, we made a reservation because the place was quite busy, but the service from the staff was excellent. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and the food was delicious with generous portions. We ordered the pheasant and the lamb surf and turf, both of which were fantastic.
