Great little pub! I only went there for drinks. Price per person: £1–£10. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 4/5. Parking: Ample space available with free parking lot options.

Sunday lunch 2 weeks ago. Initially staff very good..taking drinks order, then food orders. 2nd round of drinks took much too long to arrive. Meals also took a long time to be served. Sunday roast beef dinner very disappointing at £20 ! needs to improve substantially to warrant that price. On our table, best meals were Nut Roast, Fish and Chips, Beef Burger. Although all were overpriced. 3rd drinks, had to ask 3 times, was told bar had a lot of orders? Sweets ..Crumble OK, Toffee pudding Sponge dry. Overall Very disappointed and expensive.

We have just had probably the worst possible meal given that we had invited our friend from the north for dinner here. The calamari was 7 no bigger than hoola hoop size pieces in a very bland sauce weren’t crispy as advertised and basically exemely disappointing. The prawn cocktail was very overpriced 2 large prawns and a scattering of of broken shrimps. The pie had 3 pieces of meat half an inch square and pastry like the sole of a shoe. The chips were pre cooked pro so the day before rock hard) the tiny portion of coleslaw had a skin over the top they were that old. When the crumble arrived, it had a burnt topping that was quite noticeable both in smell and taste. We sent it back, and although we received a replacement, it was still burnt. The waiter explained that it was dark sugar and dark flour, but we could tell it was burnt. Even with the custard, the taste was off, and we ended up leaving most of it uneaten. The food is quite pricey with limited options unless you're a committed meat-eater. On a positive note, our waitress was lovely, friendly, and accommodating, while the male waiter seemed a bit distracted; he forgot to bring us water after we asked for it.
