Rude doorman wouldn’t accept my ID even though it’s a legal form of ID, they gave no explanation! Horrible place.

Alright place, for what it is. Only went as it was across from the hotel. Nice pint. Not much else to say. Friendly stuff, would go again if I was in the area.

This is the only pub in Camden where the bouncers are problematic. Over the years I have seen them squaring up with random people in the queue swearing at people and I do think something very dodgy is going on with them. The bar is fine pretty average but the bouncers really let it down Please spend time training them. They have been there for years but this is a major issue letting down a good pub

I am wondering if there are two ‘Camden Head’ pubs? We made for this one but I think maybe I got the wrong one? It was early afternoon and not busy which unfortunately didn’t help. This meant you could see all the dirt and smell all the smells of this place. It is probably more of a night time venue and does advertise gigs and event nights. I would imagine it is good for that type of thing, where people wouldn’t be bothered about the dirty floor and bar and the below par toilets. For day time drinking as couples with friends, I would suggest elsewhere. Speisekarte ansehen

An unjust occurrence is what i shall be calling this review because that’s exactly what this experience was! Me and a few friends aged 20 and 19, were enjoying a few drinks after spending a fair amount in this establishment. Then we were a victim of ageism… I say this because we were thrown out due to apparently touching girls inappropriately. We never did anything of the sort and we even told the bouncer to check the camera! I say ageism because I guarantee this would not occur if we looked older and we looked like an easy target.. so if you ever come here as a group of youngsters please avoid.. hope this review prevents any similar experiences in the future!

What a horrible traumatic experience, never again! Me and my friend (two girls) went there for late night drinks after being at a live gig at the Dublin castle, we were sober and polite at the door. The security (African origin) tall and absolutely disgraceful, went ahead and made a remark about my appearance saying he didn’t realise I was a woman, then giving us the dirtiest look possible and saying he might not let us in. His colleague then came and said we can go in but then went on to ask us for our number when we were in the smoking area and when we politely said no they went on being rude again as we were smoking and kept shouting to move down and then up again the smoking area even th...

Where do is start? Everything about this pub is amazing! The friendliest staff I have ever experienced, great atmosphere, great drinks and even better prices. This is honestly the place to go if you find yourself in Camden and want to find a nice pub. I come here regularly and go solo as most of my friends don’t drink, but every time I have went, I have met some amazing people and it’s now at the point where I go in and it’s impossible not to see someone I know. Prices £5.50 for a Heineken but that is a brilliant price for London. Most other pubs you go to will want £6 or more for the same drink.
